  2. For breading tofu, what I would recommend is getting a large piece of Tupperware, covering the bottom with the breading, then just putting all of the tofu in there, closing it and shaking it violently every which way for like half a minute. 😄

Probably the number 1 comment I get from people is how gross they think tofu is but it's really not and is such a great flavour sponge. My fav vegan go-to protein packed block of greatness!     I’m a vegetarian but never quite got around to liking tofu, it’s like a wet sponge even when frying trying to make it tasty & crispy and adding spices.

  8. I wanted to try the braised tofu as soon as I saw it and wasn't disappointed! We've had it like four times already since then (and I rarely repeat recipes). I don't really like most stir fry recipes but this one is restaurant quality, it's SO good ❤❤❤

  9. Me, non-vegan, but generally interested in vegan recipes, watching this video how to make a tasty tofu:
    Soy sauce … Got it!
    Sesame oil … I don't have it
    Rice vinegar … I don't have it
    Sexy Chinese spice… I don't have it
    Brown sugar… Got it!

    Almond butter… I don't have it…

    Basically if would have to buy a pantry-full of groceries it I wanted to make most of the vegan recipes 💩😅

  10. In addition to tossing the tofu in the bag, you can gently squeeze it in the bag, which will push out air and soak up marinade in its place. Think about sticking a dry sponge in a bucket of water and squeezing to soak up the soapy water.
