This reminds me of one of my favorite meals from a nearby taqueria – fried chicken with rice and beans and some kind of veggie like nopalitos, or peppers. It is some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had by far.
Must be hungrier than I thought. This made my mind water 🤤

Reminds me of Pollos Asados Los Norteños in San Antonio, TX. I used to go all the time when I lived there, and you could smell the place a mile away. They actually got shut down a couple times because they couldn’t keep the smoke under control. I miss it.
