RECIPES
BANANA BREAD
2 to 3 very ripe bananas, peeled (about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups mashed)
1/3 cup melted butter, unsalted or salted
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
3/4 cup sugar (1/2 cup if you would like it less sweet, 1 cup if more sweet)
1 large egg, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), and butter a 4×8-inch loaf pan.
2 In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until completely smooth. Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
3 Mix in the baking soda and salt. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract. Mix in the flour.
4 Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour at 350°F (175°C), or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean.
5 Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then remove the banana bread from the pan and let cool completely before serving. Slice and serve.

HERSHEY FROSTING
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
2/3 cup HERSHEY’S Cocoa
3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1. Melt butter. Stir in cocoa. Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating to spreading consistency.
2. Add small amount additional milk, if needed. Stir in vanilla. About 2 cups frosting.
CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER MARBLE CAKE
1 PACKAGE YELLOW CAKE MIX
1/3 CUP PEANUT BUTTER
1/2 CUP OIL
3 EGGS
1 TSP VANILLA
1/1/3 CUPS WATER
1/4 CUP COCO
2 TBSP POWDER SUGAR
1 TBSP MELTED BUTTER
2 TBSP WARM WATER
PREPARE 9X13 DISH PREHEAT OVEN TO 350. COMBINE IN LARGE BOWL, CAKE MIX, PEANUT BUTTER OIL EGGS VANILLA AND 11/3 CUPS WATER. BEAT UNTIL WELL COMBINED. RESERVE IN A MED BOWL 11/2 CUPS OF BATTER. PLACE THE REMAINING BATTER IN 9X13 DISH. MAKE THE MARBLE BY STIRRING COCO POWDER SUGAR BUTTER AND 2 TBS WARM WATER INTO THE RESERVED BATTER UNTIL WELL COMBINED. DROP CHOCO BATTER ON TOP OF BATTER IN PAN WITH A SPOON. USING A BUTTER KNIFE, SWIRL THE BATTER TOGETHER WITH OUT TOUCHING THE BOTTOM OF PAN. BAKE IN OVEN FOR 30-35 MINUTES LET COOL AND FROST.

Turkey Chili
World’s Easiest

3lbs ground turkey browned
Large jar of Pace Picante sauce
28oz can crushed tomatoes
Package of taco seasoning
1 can of black beans
1 can of red kidney beans
Sugar to taste (about 2 tablespoons)
1 tablespoon parsley
1 teaspoon of basil
1 teaspoon of red hot pepper flakes

Transfer browned ground turkey to a large stockpot. Add remaining ingredients stir well after each addition. Bring to a boil then reduce heat simmering for 40 mins stirring occasionally. ( Told you it was the world’s easiest chili recipe.)

RED PEPPER
ZUCCHINI
1/2 ONION
SEVERAL MUSHROOMS
1LB OF SWEET GROUND ITALIAN SAUSAGE
3/4 CUP FROZEN CORN
ONE CAN RINSED BLACK BEANS
SEASON TO TASTE
ONE RECIPE WHITE RICE
BROWN SAUSAGE IN A LARGE SKILLET, WHEN SAUSAGE IS ABOUT HALF DONE ADD CHOPPED VEGGIES AND SAUTE UNTIL EVERYTHING IS COOKED THROUGH. ADD CORN AND CAN OF BEANS. SEASON TO TASTE AND SERVE OVER BUTTERED RICE.

1 CAN TUNA
CHOPPED CELERY,
GREEN PEPPER
3 HARD BOILED EGGS
SHREDDED CARROT
2 PLUS CUPS COOKED PASTA
S/P
MRS DASH
MINCED ONION
1/2 CUP PLUS SOUR CREAM
1/2 CUP MAYO
IN A LARGE BOWL COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS AND MIX WELL ADDING MORE MAYO AND SOUR CREAM AS YOU GO. ADD SEASONINGS AS YOU MIX UNTIL BEST COMBO IS REACHED!
