Why did they remove this burrito from the menu? It was my favorite and you can’t modify anything economically to have a cheat version. It’s been gone for weeks in my area but it is still advertised on the app. The pic was taken 2 minutes ago!

I’m also in Milwaukee. I suspect that the stores in our area removed the Chipotle Ranch Chicken Burrito WHEN THEY DID over a month ago because just afterward the Cantina Chicken Menu which has been testing in our area for a few months got moved to the app… it had previously only been orderable at the stores. I suspect Taco Bell didn’t want the budget Chipotle Ranch Chicken Burrito competing with the much more expensive (though larger) Cantina Chicken Burrito which has very similar ingredients including Chipotle and Avocado Ranch sauces.
I fear the Chipotle Ranch Chicken Burrito will not be returning because a revised value menu is coming next month with a Chicken Enchilada Burrito and a Chicken Flatbread but the Chipotle Ranch Chicken Ranch Burrito is absent.

Mine still has it but I’m gonna be pissed if they get rid of that and the beefy melt burrito. Those two are my go-to order.
It’s been 6+ months since any of my local TB had this. Such a shame it was my go to item.

Minnesota still good to go. They should bring back the chicken Caesar grilled burrito.
They served a chicken nugget here in Minneapolis served with a Bell sauce that was very tasty. They were great, but they’re gone now.

This burrito was too complex for the average Taco Bell fan. People get scared if it’s not some form of ground beef, rice, nacho cheese, three cheese blend. That, and the fact that this may have been the best deal in fast food, led them to just scrap it and switch to that nasty chicken enchilada one
You can definitely modify for a good cheat, swap for steak at $0.20 or switch to taco meat, remove the sauces, add refried beans and you have a burrito supreme for less than $3!

2/3 times I ordered this they either forgot the chicken or substituted ground beef lol.
Not the worst removal in history to be honest.
Where I’m from in Illinois we still have the $2 chipotle burrito but in SE Wisconsin they have the Cantina Chicken burrito which is $5.79. I tried it and it tastes good, but definitely not worth the extra 4 bucks.
One thing the WI stores have that I missed are guacamole and pico de gallo.
