Green Chile Chicken Soup
The title says soup, but it’s so much more! Chef Tom fires up the El Dorado Santa Maria Style grill to make Green Chile Chicken Soup. This recipe shows why we love cooking over open fire so much! Today we’re making a real winter warmer it’s green chili chicken soup first we’re going to grill off the ingredients for our salsa verde we got the poblanos jalapenos and tomatillos we want to get some Char on all of them take them off throw the peppers into a container to
Steam and next we’re going to grill up our chicken when you got some good Char on the chicken you can take it off let’s get these Peppers peeled first take the top off then split them open and get rid of those seeds then scrape off all that
Blacken skin and give it a rough chop now everything into the blender tomatillos the peppers the cilantro the garlic and blend it until it’s smooth now let’s give this chicken to chop and we’re ready to go back to the grill for the rest of this cook I’m going to be
Cooking right on the coals so preheat your Dutch oven then add a little bit of oil and the miraa season with some Mexicano and let those veggies soften up next throw in your beans and then some brown rice add that dice sted chicken and then smother it in the Sal sa ver
