A Slow Cooker Beef Chili with a Difference

Back when we started this channel we made a Slow Cooker Beef Chili and looking back at it, we weren’t happy with how it turned out. So we decided to upgrade the recipe and Improve it.

Traditionally beef chili is made in using minced/ground beef, but with a slight twist this is made using diced stewing beef. Cooking it for 8 hours means that it pulls apart, the kidney beans and sweetcorn stay in one piece. We served ours on a bed of tortilla chips, but they do go just as well with rice or potatoes.

Serves: 3-4
Cooking Time: 8 Hours
Setting: LOW

750g Diced Stewing Beef
2 Onions
1 Red Chilli
1 Tablespoon of Cumin
1 Tablespoon of Cajun Spice or Chilli Powder
1 Tablespoon of Oregano
1 Tablespoon of Paprika
1 Beef Stock Pot
1 Teaspoon of Garlic Puree
1 Tablespoon of Tomato Puree
1 Tin of Sweetcorn
1 Tin of Kidney Beans
1 Tin of Chopped Tomatoes
