Ingredients:
10 cloves garlic, chopped
3 large boneless, skinless chicken thighs cut into bite size chunks (You can also use breasts)
1 tablespoon oil of cooking
5 tablespoons unsalted butter divided
1 teaspoon salt, divided
3 teaspoons ground black pepper, divided
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
1 1ā2 cup water
1 1ā2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons parsley for garnish
Additional Notes:
Chicken: You can use boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs for this recipe. If you prefer bone-in chicken, adjust the cooking time accordingly to ensure it’s thoroughly cooked.

Hey guys today we’re making up some Frugal smothered garlic pepper chicken just imagine rice or potatoes smothered with an incredible pepper garlic chicken because it doesn’t get any better let’s go ahead and mix them up so the first thing we’re gonna do is chop up 10 cloves of garlic now 10 cloves seems
Like a lot but after all it is one of the primary ingredients and it is garlic pepper chicken and although it is chopped you don’t want to chop it too fine because we are going to toast that garlic next up about a tablespoon of olive oil into a pan over medium-high
Heat then we are simply going to throw in those 10 cloves of garlic now here’s the trick we’re gonna stir and saute these over medium to medium low heat because we do not want these to burn we want them nice and toasty and brown this is going to take you somewhere in the
Neighborhood of about three to five minutes you know depending on your pain and the heat you have them on but this smells so good nothing better than the smell of garlic cutting and I see the count jumping out the door right now and after about four minutes or so just look
At this garlic beginning to toast absolutely beautifully so I am going to put these into a bowl and simply set them aside I must say we have completed step one and I am proud of myself alrighty then we’re gonna grab up about three boneless skinless chicken breasts
And I got these on sale I think they were about 10 bucks and we’re gonna slice them into manageable chunks not too big not too little it really depends on you but just remember the smaller the chunks are the faster they’ll fry okay into the same pan as that garlic with

Dave, great recipe & yes on us & the girls as we like our garlic. Sides are going to be butter egg noodles & sweet baby carrots with a little honey & butter. I would not change a thing on the chicken , & it will be delicious. I left you a post on your new food news video, I like it & good info. btw , tip for 10 or more garlic cloves peeling, 2 metal mixing bowls 1 a little smaller than the other ( no plastic, glass, etc.. bowls & must be metal). Put your cloves in big bowl, cover with smaller bowl bottom end up like a ball or sphere, shake vigorously with 1 hand holding the cloves in with pressure on the top of smaller bowl, in appx. 60 seconds of shaking vigorously your cloves will be skinned, remove & dice, slice, mince, etc…works every time. Keep your stick on the ice pal.
I assume you could add mushrooms to this to stretch this out. That would make it even better if you get the mushrooms on sale.
