Chili bean pot meal in a bag prepper pantry  food storage stockpile recipe shelf meal hi it’s   AlaskaGranny Alaska Prepper something I’ve been  working on lately is organizing my prepper Pantry   food storage stockpile making sure I’m rotating  some of the foods I have it’s always a good idea

To be using those Foods stockpile rotating and  replacing stored food so that you continue to have   a fresh supply of food you can’t just buy Canned  packaged foods put food away forever stored Foods   need to be rotated I have certainly had problems  with some expired Foods before that you don’t want

To come to an actual emergency situation and find  out that your food isn’t any good anymore rotating   the foods in your prepper Pantry in your food  storage stockpile is also a great way to learn   how to use those foods and maybe try some beans  and rice different kinds of recipes the recipe

I’m going to share with you today is a Chili  Bean Pot it’s a fun recipe put together rice   and beans Chili Bean Pot so simple Chili Bean  Pot makes a whole lot of food sometimes I make

Smaller recipes because I am just maybe making  meal for myself but it’s also a great idea to   have some big Bountiful meals ideas recipes that  you can make if you have a large family or you’re   going to have a group over and it’s sometimes  nice to have leftovers Chili Bean Pot recipe

Makes a lot of food Chili Bean Pot includes a  lot of rice if you don’t want so much rice or   so much food a look to the end of the video and  I’ll show you what it looks like if you make it

With two cups of rice versus one cup of rice and  maybe you can decide then ahead of time how much   rice you want to include in your Chili Bean  Pot here’s a simple recipe for Chili Bean Pot

Combine two cups of rice one can of black beans  one can of chili and either one can of diced   tomatoes or if you want it spicier you can use a  can of the mild diced tomatoes with green chilies

That would be like Rotel and then you need four  cups of water it’s a delicious hot meal that’s   made right out of your prepper pantry and these  are foods that you can put together in a bag store

It in your pantry then whenever you want to make a  nice meal pull out your bag add the water pour it   all in a pot and let it simmer turn on the burner  add your four cups of water bring it to a boil add the rice I’m going to use Rotel

Can of chili a can of black beans  stir it to combine you want to bring   it back to a boil put on the lid  and simmer it for 20 to 25 minutes I’m cooking for 25 minutes oh look at that how good does that look it’s ready to serve

Chili one pot meal look at all the fluffy rice  the beans and the flavorful veggies what would be   your favorite toppings for chili bean pot could be  anything that you prefer to add on top of chili if

You have some shredded cheese maybe some chopped  onion sour cream it depends what you enjoy and   what you have on hand I have some shredded cheese  oh yeah yum but if you don’t have anything else

It’s still going to be delicious if you don’t want  as much rice in your chili bean pot go ahead and   just add two cups of water and one cup of rice  along with the other canned ingredients then it

May be more the ratio of rice beans and tomatoes  that you’re looking for even after feeding a big   crowd you can see there’s still quite a lot of  the chili bean pot left over this works great if

You want to roll it up into a flour tortilla maybe  add some cheese and additional hot sauce and make   a wonderful delicious burrito leave it in the  comments below if you try making the chili bean

Pot and any addition subtractions or any changes  that you make to it to make it fit your family’s   tastes and desires I hope you enjoy my video  that you’ll like it share it with someone else   and please subscribe to the AlaskaGranny  channel youtube prepper prepping channel

  1. That is really funny that you’re going through your pantry because that’s exactly what I’m doing right now as I’m listening to this. I’ve been really bad about rotating my preps.

  2. This recipe works out perfectly for me because they have beans that I need to use up and I have leftover rice. Thank you for your videos. God bless you, Alaska, granny

  3. ❤ that looks great going to put that on my list thank you for all the great ideas you have a wonderful blessed day and keep up the wonderful videos ❤

  4. Oh that looks so good I'm going to make that for dinner tomorrow night.
I too have been reorganizing my kitchen and pantry and trying to go through what I have in my home too. Thankyou Alaska Granny

  5. Zowy! What a great recipe! I especially like the idea of using it as a filler in a burrito for leftovers. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious 😁💪⚡🥳🤗👏🌠👍🏆🏆🏆

  6. Man that looks delicious! I think I’ll even add some dehydrated ground beef to it! Thank you for the wonderful ideas that you give us🤗. Stay warm.!

  7. This is awesome to throw in a baking dish after it's been cooked, pour Jiffy corn muffin mix—prepared of course—and bake in the oven until the muffin mix is browned. Add cheddar cheese and it's amazing. I also add corn to mine and sometimes diced green chilies.

  8. You always have tasty, fast meals! I have dehydrated cheese, or you could use cheese sauce from packets or jars. Any canned meat would punch this up, too.

  9. I'm a lover of bowls, so I would love lettuce chopped with tortilla chips. Yum! Tks AG Just bought more baggies for the easy fixes.

  10. Similar to the pot of chili I make with canned chili beans, rice, corn, diced tomatoes and ground beef. I put salsa on top ~ olé! 😄 God bless.

  11. So simple, so good. Love your meal kit meals. This was a whole new concept for me when I saw on your YT channel a few years ago. Thank you, AG!!!

  12. What a neat idea, a delicious and complete meal.
It is excellent for lent or Fridays, when we r holding meat.
The can of chili, you added, may be , it is with meat, then I would substitute with a vegetarian chili.
Thank you, so much, for this great dish.
    🙏👍❤️🌟✨🕊️👏💫⭐️

  13. Looks like a lot of us need recipes to use/rotate all the rice and canned goods we've stockpiled. This one looks really good. Many thanks, Alaska Granny, for sharing your recipe ideas! BTW, tonight I made your crockpot canned chicken and stuffing mix crockpot recipe — hubby and I really enjoyed it!

  14. That looks delicious! I always have Fritos with my chili and usually turn leftovers into enchiladas. To this dish, I would add some of my canned chicken (or ground beef), corn, cheese and maybe some extra onions, roll it in tortillas and cover with enchilada sauce and cheese. Serve with sour cream. 😋

  15. Looks soo good Alaska Granny. I made something similar with black beans, brown rice, pasta sauce, and chicken soup base in the instant pot. I also top my dogs dry dogfood with some of it but with no onions or garlic of course.

  16.
