
Yesterday I made flour tortillas for the first time and they turned out great (for my first attempt atleast)! But today I wanted to eat some for breakfast and they were crunchy, heating them up helped a little but they weren’t as pliable and soft as they were yesterday. I stored them in the dish towel you see on the picture! What did I do wrong?
My recipe was:
1 1/2 cup of wheat flour
3/4 cup of hot water
2 1/2 tablespoons of butter (melted)
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
(I got the recipe off of a Mexican homecook on TikTok)
