Recipe:
– 3-4 big leeks, only the white part and a little bit of the green
– 1 carrot
– 1 chili
– 1,8 lbs/800g pork neck
– Vegetable oil for searing the meat and again for the vegetables
– 2 tablespoons flour
– 1 cup/240ml red wine
– 1 cup/240ml passata or canned tomatoes
– 2 cups/480ml water
– 1,5 tablespoons sweet paprika
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– About 1 teaspoon black pepper
– Salt to season

Would this work with beef? It looks delicious but we don't eat pork.
Oh, great… now I have to add another recipe to my list! 😉 (that is NEVER a bad thing) Particularly since I have a pork picnic roast that needs to be cooked soon. Thinking about it, this would also be wonderful with lamb shanks.
