Ok, more enthusiasm over here than knowledge. But, that’s why I’m here! Used to help my mom garden as a kid. Now I’m retired and recently watched Superhot on Hulu. So diving into things like I do (and with a general like of spicy food) I’m now growing my own peppers.
To start I have a 16 seed starter tray with 4 each of Jalapeño, Tabasco, Cayenne, and Pepperoncini seeds in the works. I’m actually only hoping for one good plant of each to begin with- but who knows where this will go. I’m naming each variety (is ok to name them?) after The Highwaymen (Waylon, Willie, Johnny, and Merle). And just today the first sprout (Willie/jalapeño) came up after only 5 days.
I think we’re off to a good start but I want to learn more. I want this to be fun. So howdy y’all!
