Second sighting/squishing of a similar bug in over 4 days. Ok, honestly I don’t expect anyone to be able it ID this gnat of sorts off of these photos. BUT I’m confused. These seedlings have only been inside. We don’t leave our doors open often enough or long enough to have rando bugs just flying in en masse to find their way upstairs. Could this have come from the potting mix? We haven’t seen any fruit flies or have had fruit setting out. What should I be keeping an eye out for and how worried should I be? I don’t see any others and not sure what to make of it. Just being overly defensive of my seedling is all.
