When I arrived back home tonight, my place smelled like a chile farm, that deep green flaver of a chile with that signature backend of heat lighting up the back of my tongue!
As if I just took a bite of the freshest chile I ever ate!
Now, I attribute my ability to sense that aroma to my supertaster abilities, because no one else could smell what I thought was an overpowering aroma.
I planted them mid January for a mid April transplant outdoors so I only expect the aroma to magnify over the coming month and a half, and don’t know what I’ll do after they go outside.
It’s maybe the best aromatheropy ever!
P.S. – The above photo was taken a couple days ago and the plants that have yellow leaves have been fertilized and are back to being dark matte green.
