    Nong, ask ko lng bakit ung chili garlic nmn 2 weeks lang buhay, tpos may ina amag na sya? Bat po kaya ganon?

    version 1:
    about 3 cups oil! low heat
    cinnamon stick (not powder!)
    1-2pcs star anise
    2 bay leaves
    1tb peppercorn
    ginger 2 inches
    garlic
    1/2 small-medium onion thinly sliced
    cook until onion slightly crispy

    lowest heat
    turn off heat and leave to room temp
    remove all

    approx 2cups garlic
    low heat until cooked to slightly before desired crispiness

    remove all

    chili flakes 1/3 of jar
    pour HOT oil to about half of jar

    let sit for about 5 mins to cool

    pour in garlic until almost filled

    add about 1/2 tsp powdered/pulverized/processed salt (big jar)
