The process of “hardening off”
When pepper seedlings are started and grown indoors, it is imperative that you help transition your plants to the outside world by introducing them to the sun -1 hour at a time-
On day 1, you want to catch the morning, or the afternoon, sun for 1 hour
On day 2, you do it for two hours and so on…
You want to get a good 6-7 days to get them ready to be under the full sun and prevent sun burn on the young leaves.
