Chili Chicken is a popular dish in Asia, it is a deep fried chicken coated in spicy chili sauce, there is a lot of version of this dish with different influence such as Chinese, Indian, Bengali. Korean and Indonesian.
My version is mainly Korean/Chinese influence.
Ingredients:
1 kg of boneless chicken thigh/breast
1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp pepper
2 tbsp of soy sauce
6 tbsp cornstarch
2 eggs
oil for frying
Chili sauce:
6 tbsp of tomato sauce
1 tbsp of chili sauce(can be sriracha, sambal or Korean chili paste)
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp of butter/ oil
3 cloves garlic
1 medium onion
1 medium capsicum/ bell pepper
1-3 pcs chili (optional)
