I know these items are a bit controversial for the price so here is my review.
Not factoring in price:
Taco: 6/10, pretty good… honestly a bit too much cheese for me though and was a bit in pieces. Definitely not something you can eat while driving home.
Quesadilla: 9/10, reminds me of how flavorful and big the chicken quesadilla used to seem to me. Obviously a lot different. The chicken tastes like thigh meat and is nice and tender. The dip cups are nice and the guac is pretty good.
Considering pricing… hard to say with how current prices are for everything and what the new “normal” is. Would say they are almost priced accordingly IF the quality stays like this. I’ve found after a couple weeks they forget how to make all the new items and start skimping on everything again.
Overall I would buy the quesadilla again for sure but do wish it was a dollar cheaper.
One thing to note, they forgot to put the new verde sauce in my order so I asked for it. They then informed me that any extra sauces outside of your order are .20 cents. So these aren’t something you can grab a handful of… at least at my location. And they’re also refrigerated. Wasn’t a fan of them, but could see people enjoying it.
