Introduction

Ingredients
1lbs (450g) of beef cubes
1 medium white onion, cut
1 head of garlic, peeled and minced
2 green peppers, cut
2 cans of diced tomatoes (28 Oz x 2)
1 can of tomato paste (5.5 Oz)
2 tsp of cumin
1 tsp of paprica
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp of black pepper
1/4 tsp of red pepper flakes
2 tsp of coconut oil
Directions
1. Heat the skillet over medium-high (I prefer iron cast skillet, as it gives that nice brownish color to vegetables and meat)
2. Add 1 tsp of coconut oil and add meat
3. Fry meat for about 5 minutes per each side or until all the sides are golden brown​
4. Place the meat in the separate bowl and set aside​
5. In the same skillet add another 1 tsp of coconut oil​, onion and green peppers. Cook stirring for about 5-7 minutes until the onion and peppers soften​
6. Add garlic and cook for another 1 minute
7. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl or slow cooker
8. Bring to boil in the large bowl and then reduce the heat to minimum, simmer for 3-4 hours. If you use slow cooker, cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 7-8 hours.
Sprinkle with nutritional yeast if desired.
