My purpose for buying this was to have a spicy condiment to go with Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food.
Well last weekend I found a knockout Mediterranean restaurant. I got a full spread from there that had chicken adana, grilled chicken, gyro meat, adana, lamb kebabs, and rice.
I was so excited to try this sauce with it. I moved to a state from another state that had halal guys and I really missed their red sauce.
Well… Though the flavor went well with food, it had little to no spice to it. It almost tastes like herby tomato paste.
I'll continue my search for a spicy condiment for these foods.
