love the keto bread recipe I use it for lots of different things I have tinkered with it so I can now let it rise like regularly yeast bread so light and fluffy yes I’ve seen some of your pictures on Facebook absolutely beautiful job on the bread that’s so cool yeah it’s awesome love it um babe what are we making by the way tonight well tonight tonight we’re doing chili dogs and we got a couple of different things linked down below for you guys is my carnivore chili recipe which is uh some leftover of that is here in the pan in front of me and back on the uh counter behind us is some of my carnivore bread recipe and I’m going to show you how I would use it to make hot dog buns if you don’t have a hot dog bun pan that is the sort of hogy type version uh I have linked the original video in the in the uh description down below for the carnivore bread recipe I have also linked the collaboration I did with Victor Southern keto the Philly cheese steak video that’s where I modified that recipe to do this uh hogy bun shape and that’s what I used today and I’m going to show you how I’m going to cut that to make makeshift hot dog buns so if you don’t have a hot dog bun pan you’re happy with show you how to make bun length hot dog buns and make that happen so you can do carnivore chili dogs I like it y go squeeze behind you and show them off these these beautiful can I can I show off have nine calendar days which equates to seven actual days of my day job left so not this Thursday in two days but the Thursday after that is my last day working the day job as a security guard and we’re just going to rely on the kindness of the community and doing the recipes and running the YouTube thing helping as many people as we can and on that note in the description down below I have linked a new channel that we have created called Chris cooking Nashville Studios it’s a second channel that we’re going to run separate of this one but linked and essentially health information about keto and carnivore and things that I’m researching and why I’m choosing the way that I do the the lifestyle we live with low carb foods information about that we’re going to do videos over there based on that so that way it doesn’t clog up the feed here where we’re doing the recipes so the food stuff will be here the health stuff will be on that channel eventually our health Vlogs will probably move over to that Channel right now I’m posting them here and over there as well going to be doing that until we can get that channel off the ground but once everything in the future is kind of settled out our health Vlogs will entually move over there so that leaves us more space to do more food here so we’re going to be doing a recipes here the health information over there so if you’re it that’s right seven more subscribers and then we got to get those watch hours going on as I start posting videos there that will happen and once we hit 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours essentially it lets you monetize a YouTube channel Chanel but then that opens up all of these new things that YouTube will let you do feature-wise on my side you guys don’t really see any of that but it allows me on my side to do more stuff which makes it much easier to run the channel and do the kinds of things you guys deserve so that’s why we push so hard to try to get to those numbers and try to get that stuff going on so and I will say if I can add something too the thing that I think is so great when Chris was talking to me about this new channel is basically with us moving like Health Vlogs and that kind of stuff interviews all that over there and then doing just cooking here that means with that new channel though especially once we get it monetized and up and running um we’re going to be able to reach a wider audience especially of people who probably haven’t heard of Keto and carnivore before so and then we’re able to bring them back to this Channel and then kind of teach them how to make food that would be right for them to eat so it it’s kind of just trying to broaden the horizons and hopefully tell more people about keto and carnivore that wouldn’t have heard of it otherwise yeah and it gives us more complete pathway for people we can introduce them to the health information we can help them find ways of making recipes that follow those kinds of processes of a proper human diet and then they can use that and they can go and like help their family and help their friends and cook things for people and that’s the thing A lot of people do proper human diet stuff they don’t need recipes and that’s totally fine but there’s a lot of people that do and feel like they can’t do this without that or more importantly there’s a lot of people that cook for their family and their family has no interest in doing this and so they’re trying to convince them this can taste good and this can be great and you can have a healthier lifestyle and also eat really good food at the same time sometimes that’s what it takes to get people to even consider giving this a shot we’re just trying to help as many people as we can and that’s a way we can do it so it ties the two things together and it gives people a more complete pathway and then for all the medical stuff that I’m not in any way qualified to know about I can send them to people like Dr Barry Dr sha Baker Dr Kilz Dr chaffy like there’s a bunch of other people out there that know about that side that I am very familiar with all of their information because that’s how I got into doing this and I can send people that direction and give them a place to go to learn about all of the science and the medical stuff that they need and whatever and so we can give people a more holistic 360 degree benefit as Chris cooking Nashville that’s what it’s really all about um quilter in the woods 62 says you preach it Chris I agree here here speaking of help helping people and just how great it is um to see this channel so much thanks for all you both do well thank you for being here and sharing your story because that’s what not only inspires us to keep going but a bunch of other people in the comments so everyone go in the comments rock on that is absolutely amazing we love hearing stories like that it never gets old absolutely love it really quickly and Ash can start asking me questions if you guys have but I’m just going to tell you what I’m going to do so I’ve got an onion here this is if you’re goinging to like ketovore or keto if you like a little onion on your chili dogs we might use a little onion on ours tonight I have an onion here I’ve got it cut in half cuz I’m going to show you a couple of different things really quickly I’m going to show you two different ways of cutting this onion one is a little more cheffy and then the other is probably more likely what you’re going to do at home and then I’m going to show you how to take some of the astringent I don’t know if you know that kind of like that sour and that sort of bitter and harsh flavor that can be in certain onions especially if they’re maybe not the best quality onions I’m going to show you how to tone that down and make it a little bit more pleasant it just makes onions a lot nicer to eat I’m going show you how to do that I’m going show you two ways of cutting here I’m going just do it really quickly and then as I get into the second one Ash can ask me any questions you guys have whatever so first of all when you’re cutting something like this anytime you’re using your hand do not lay your fingers out flat like this get up on the tips of your fingers the second finger here sticks out front these two fingers come behind it and right here on the knuckle is where the knife moves so there is no way to cut the tips of your fingers if you stick your fingertips out like that you’re going to whack them off so like that okay so there’s a couple of things we’re going to do first of all an onion has layers that run in this direction so we’re going to cut down across it this way okay see how I’m up on the tips of my fingers and I’m keeping the knife away from the tips of my fingers okay you want to make sure you have a nice sharp knife because a doll knife is much more likely to cut you than a sharp knife because you have to work extra hard now the more cheffy way of doing this is to then you turn it sideways and you do one slice through this way and then you come down so that’s about a third of the way down the onion this is about 2/ thirds of the way down the onion and you do another slice this way right like so and then you come here and you start cutting in this Direction all right and you take the last little piece here okay so there’s your kind of cheffy diced onion I’m just going to put that in the bowl right here and then I’m going to show you honestly what most of you probably are going to want to do at home because unless there’s a specific spe reason that you really want to be cheffy about it which I like to do that but you may not unless there’s a specific reason you want to be cheffy you don’t actually have to do all that work and I’m going to show you a much easier way I say easier you’re going to get a different result so it’s not like it’s the exact same thing just with less effort but it’s a similar enough result most of you at home are probably going to be totally fine with this okay so the first thing we’re going to do is we’re going to go across this way just like we did before okay this is the easy part really like that okay then we’re going to turn it this way okay when you get to that last little piece that’s easy you just rock it back and forth to cut through and honestly most dishes that’s probably going to be just fine and if it’s not turn the knife sideways hand goes on top back and forth once or twice diced onion significantly less and it’s not quite as consistent of result that’s why chefs do it the other way because they want really consistent results when you’re doing you know commercial food you need things to be the same way every single time or customers will freak out uh but when you’re cooking at home if it’s anything like the way my house was if you freak out about food not being consistent enough or having something you’re unsatisfied with and they say okay well then go to bed without eating so there you go so what we’re going to do to make this a little bit less strong and astringent and bitter and just kind of that that hot sort of spicy weird flavor that cheaper onions can have this is a pretty good onion but if you get one of those ones that really makes your eyes burn when you’re cutting it you know it’s real strong this is what we’re going to do so we’ve got the onions in a bowl come over here and I’m going to grab a good size pinch of salt over the top small handful ice cubes cold water just enough to cover those onions stir that together dissolve that salt and what’s going to happen is having the onion in salt water is going to create a different salinity on the outside of the onion as it is on the inside and so water starts to pass back and forth between the two the salt cuts down on bitterness on your pallet anyway the cold water helps keep it firm and crisp but it changes some of the salty water on the outside for some of the not salty water on the inside so that the salinity all balances out and it pulls out some of those bitter compounds and the salt helps to offset some of those bitter compounds as well so it’s why a lot of vegetables are pickled and they use salt and vinegar and different kinds of things salt and sour really offset that root bitter flavor that vegetables can have so if you’re using onions for things like chili dog and you want them to be nice and sweet and not super super rough then this is a great way to do it and then we’ll just strain off of that salt water before we serve awesome there we go little science lesson today wow yeah um so if you have questions y’all feel free to drop them down below because I’m just going to start getting some things ready for chili dogs awesome um so many people are saying that’s such a cool a Nifty trick um about the onion uh they’re in they’re in cooking class which is awesome um I love uh 202 Q cat let’s see said I’m how old and just now found out how to properly cut my onions onions are one of those things that are very frustrating when you don’t know how to cut them and you’re trying to cut them because if you’re following recipes and you’re not carnivore onions are in everything and they’re a little frustrating to cut sometimes so right that makes it a lot easier also really quickly I’m going to take a stick blender and I’m going to make this leftover chili so it’s already smooth you go watch the video you’ll see how I make this and how I get it this smooth but for a chili sauce that’s going to go on a hot dog the smoother it is the better so we’re just going to take a stick blender and we’re just going to make it nice and smooth this would be a lot more like that fast food style chili or the canned stuff you get at the store for chili dogs or any of that kind of stuff and it’s going to make it a thicker texture too because the meat sort of emulsifies in with the water it’s really nice [Applause] [Applause] and there we go 30 seconds of work and you have a completely different chili than what I had just a minute ago and babe you linked the uh chili recipe down below right yep I sure did it is linked below awesome okay so now we have this really nice smooth and thick chili sauce and if you guys are worried about reheating my chili recipe because it is thickened with egg yolk uh this was thickened with egg yolk it was in the refrigerator for 2 days and I just reheated it and it’s totally fine it does not ruin it in any way or cause any problems you can totally reheat it because the egg is already cooked when you do it the way that I do it and you don’t have to worry about that so good I love your chili by the way we we had my whole family over here uh and they’re all standard American diet and they requested yeah it’s the reason we have Chile left over because the whole family was over here and requested that I make chile and so how could I say no the whole family wants to eat carnivore chili who knew when when my standard American diet family members say hey can we have your carnivore whatever because it’s their favorite that makes me really happy that is a win in my book and actually both of my brothers-in-law that live here in Nashville both were over here they also wanted to try my carnivore bread I made grilled cheese for everybody and three standard American diet people ate grilled cheese with that bread toasted and loved it mhm super good hey Randy’s in the house hello Randy there he is Rand can cook Randy canoy the legend the amazing man himself he is here he gave you a 1999 Super than oh Randy you sir are a scholar and a gentleman and if you guys get anywhere near Nashville you got to come over for dinner cuz I owe you like 10 of them at this point I think you’re you’re you’re just a wonderful man uh we we have eight hot dogs because that’s what comes in a pack so if you go to the video where Victor and I did the Philly cheese steaks you’ll see how I make these uh hogy style sort of buns and he has linked in that this pan that I use to make these one batch makes three of these perfectly so I’m going to have an extra one left over we’ll have to do sub sandwiches of some kind or something but you just cut them in half this way and this is so cool about this it makes this so easy okay so you just cut them in half this way and a bun length hot dog is about yay long all right so we have one two 3 4 now we’re going to come here and we’re going to cut down the middle from the top like that look how beautiful and soft that bread looks I hear the jingle of a of a dog collar a dog collar look you’re a little early tonight kiddo she hears me cutting this egg white bread y’all this dog has had some bites of this egg white bread in various forms as I’ve made it over the number of years we’ve been trying all this and it doesn’t matter what version of this she loves all of it but especially my version she loves but she loves these egg white breads so much the protein in it I guess it always cracks me up too cuz like you’ll see him cutting and if I just take the camera look who’s right there there she is ready to rck sniffing sniffing trying to get a snack yeah okay all right so what we’re going to do is we’ve got these now cut in half this way I’m just going to just Nick off that little tip right there because it’s going to be hard for this to work so then we’re just going to come here into the middle right there on top and we’re just going to very carefully it’s tough to do because it’s so soft just going to carefully cut down the middle and make our hot dog bun get out of here so now if you have a hot dog bun mold these will be a little bit prettier but you know not a lot of people have a random hot dog mold sitting around hot dog bun mold so uh if you don’t have a hot dog bun mold but you happen to have this bread pan that I use to make these two for the price of one also I feel like if you’re making chili dogs they’re not supposed to be like pretty and clean they’re not supposed to look super refined and pretty and clean chili dogs are not meant to be served in a Francy French restaurant right that’s just not what they are and we’re all totally okay with it because chili dogs are messy and they’re super enjoyable and they’re comforting and they’re warm and that’s the whole point so Mary Kay wesling says like that tip on the bread awesome yeah super helpful yeah just you know and then did you guys know you can turn these into croutons if you’re keto and you do salads and you want croutons I’ll do a video and show you guys how to do that so you save little ends of your bread you can make bread crumbs you can make croutons you can make all kinds of stuff yeah if you guys would like the crouton recipe put croutons in the comment below yes uh Marissa says OMG reminds me of foot long chili dogs at Sonic but healthy and tasty yes that’s very very much what this is going to be like with the the style of chili sauce that I have there it’s that fast food kind of chili and you could very easily just leave these hole and go buy foot long hot dogs if you’d find ones that have ingredients you’re all right with and you could totally do those foot long chili dogs yeah I love those Sonic foot long chili dogs that’s part of the reason my butt got as big as it did mine to chili dogs and tater tots man uh babe uh Mary K has a question for you y let’s go for it is Tuesday the only day you do the show right now um so Tuesdays are the only day I do a cooking live right now just because we’re so limited on time when I get everything up and running with the new channel I’m going to be doing a Monday morning motivational live as well um we may do some other live cooking stuff from time to time on this channel but I’m going to start probably increasing and doing some more live stream type stuff because people really seem to enjoy this I really enjoy this and it gives us more direct interaction and contact with each other and makes it really easy for us to be able to work together on things I think so I agree I actually really enjoy these Tuesday night lives I they’re a lot of fun I really do I really do as well this this is just uh a generally good time we love having you guys kind of just here in our home with us which is truthfully what this sort of equates to and you know truthfully the the idea for doing this Tuesday night live in the first place was the fact that we wanted to we wanted to show you guys how we do these kinds of things I wanted you to have the chance to ask some questions and I wanted it to be like you were just here in the kitchen with me because I mean Ash can tell you when we have friends over one of my favorite things to do is cook for people and actually sort of talk to them while my shirt off or doing any of that craziness tonight we’re a family show for the most part you know you got to got to keep it together bab keep it together that’s right and more chili on top I like the more chili you’re you’re doing good I’m liking the way you’re building these that’s the nice thing too when you make things like chili dogs at home you can put like all the chili and all the cheese and all the stuff you want on it oh yeah you go out they put like you know just that tiny little bit you’re like come on yeah when you go out they’re all worried about the bottom dollar so yeah cheese over the top cuz that’s the way we roll and there it is look at that carnivore chili dog so we make one more on this plate because one I know my wife and two in case you guys want to see it again 22 them in some boiling water that will do it h yeah yeah y’all I am so protective of my hands it’s like it’s so funny if you were hanging around and we were like doing stuff physical you would see me like I’m always super cautious with where my fingers are like if they’re underneath of the edge of something heavy I’m carrying or that kind of stuff I’m hyper aware of it so that I don’t end up like cutting off the tip of a finger or something or breaking a finger because that would uh very potentially just ruin my guitar playing career forever yeah wouldn’t be very fun listen Phil kegy made it work with only uh three fingers on that hand but I don’t want to have to relearn to play guitar like he did that’s true so also you you need your hands to make things like you know carnivore chili dogs and potatoes that’s yeah it makes it a lot easier to cook when I got all my fingers too so I love just Susie’s thoughts I I know I’ve see her in here a long yeah there she is she says 63 of you have not hit the like button on and do it that’s right if you guys go down below the video there is a little thumbs up button down there and uh if you guys wouldn’t mind hitting that for me and telling YouTube that this is a cool video we sure would appreciate that because that makes makes YouTube land very happy which makes us very happy because we can do more of this to make you guys very happy mhm uh Sher adup says I am totally going to try this onion thing genius yeah it it makes a really big difference especially you’ll notice the bigger of the difference with like onions that when you cut them you can tell they’re real strong and they’re real spicy and they burn your eyes that kind of onion it makes a huge huge difference now these have not been sitting in that salt water for very long if you have a really strong onion let them sit in there for 45 minutes to an hour you know like give them give them some time to marinate it will it will help out so yes it’s not exactly fancy plating but it’s a carnivore chili dog I like it and it’s a great way to use things like leftovers or to test out your skills on the carnivore bread or you know you can doctor these up any way you want if you don’t want to do chili dogs if you want to do Chicago style dogs I’ve actually got a hot dog video where I did a different version of hot dog buns I think these are probably going to be better than those but I hadn’t invented this recipe yet at the time and and uh I show you guys how to do like a a keto version of Chicago dog and we did a Kore jalapeno popper dog on there and we did a pure carnivore dog with cheese and Mayo I believe it was and I remember those those were good those were very tasty those were very tasty so you want to you want to give us a taste test here honey you want to let us know how the how the chili dogs taste I want you to go first I’m worried about you no don’t wor about I’m worried that you’ve been making dinner you been in here working real hard no no come on you you give you give that a taste you let them know you let them know what you think you let them know what you think I’ll I’ll hold the I’ll hold the phone I’ll just I’ll talk to you guys I’ll talk to you guys so okay so she’s going to try this out I have no idea um what’s actually going to be going on here a lot of messiness yeah let’s take a look at let’s just take a look at those I mean just look at the chili dog look just look at the chili dog look at the chili dog look at the chili dog go ahead and give that your dog is putting her head up yeah of course she is there she is she’s like little chili dog yeah she’s like I’ll look at the chili dog I’ll taste the chili dog too somebody somebody eat it before I decide to jump up there and have some so oh yeah yeah oh yeah yeah yes okay so I think she likes it a lot I think she I think she likes the chili dog so I will I will give a taste as well give it come on now it’s so good your chili has such a good flavor and the cheese and the onion is like not super strong it’s sweet yeah your bread of course always amazing it’s nice and soft it’s so good yeah your bread is also super soft but it’s not like eggy tasting super good texture also if y’all have never tried like if you can have mustard and you’re into it a little bit of mustard on a chili dog it just knocks it up a level man it the flavor is so good it’s a game changer it’s a subtle difference unless you put a whole bunch on there which is also good but a little bit of mustard on a chili dog is a sub thing but man if you like mustard at all that is a great great addition those are great chili dogs too oh yeah so what kind of questions we got from the people what can we do for everybody I’m going I’m going through here we’re going to we’re going to look at some questions okay um Jennifer wants to know uh do you know what brand of hot dogs hopefully is it co coils um I don’t know what brand that is uh these are the Oscar Meyer uh Angus beef franks they come with a black label they are less than a gram for a serving of carbs I’m sure there’s a little bit of Trace something in there um as the cheap hot dogs go those have been the cleanest that I have found they’re not perfect but you know life is not perfect so we do the best we can there are some companies that make completely sugar-free hot dogs and to be honest I’d like to kind of learn to make my own and maybe do a recipe for you guys but in the meantime uh you know we just do the best we can and so the Oscar Meer Black Angus um beef is the best that I found of the cheap ones and then there’s a couple of companies that are like local things that we find that are not um too terribly difficult to get a hold of but they have no sugar or anything like that and they’re zero carb uh they are more expensive and they’re a little bit more out of the way so a lot of times that’s what I get for something like this I just went ahead and grabbed the cheap Oscar Meyer because that’s kind of the taste that you expect and uh if you get the the Angus ones that have less than a gram of carbs per hot dog I’m not going to eat nearly enough for it to cause an issue for me if that’s a worry for you whatever kind of brand of hot dog you want um you know get the cleanest one you can find yeah these are good A lot of people are saying that those are all good hot dogs yeah um Leon Yoder just gave you a $5 Super Chat well thank you Leon says so when will Nashville get Chris carnivore Kitchen restaurant you know I’ve had a bunch of people suggest that and ask that I don’t know if you guys know or not depending on how long you’ve been around the channel how many of my videos you’ve seen but we actually owned a bakery at one point in time back in the pandemic days uh we owned a micro Bakery making handmade sourdough bread I did and um we considered doing a food business full-time the problem is anywhere around Nashville to have the kind of space you need for any kind of a food business even just for a small bakery that would have been anywhere from a 1 to2 million investment which we would of course had to get a loan for because I ain’t got that kind of money uh and then based on what we were selling things for the way the market works here and with overhead and different kinds of things I’d be working seven days a week probably 18 hour days and we would hope to turn a profit within the first five to maybe seven years so I think a carnivore restaurant would be a really cool thing unfortunately it’s catering to a very Niche crowd and it’s very very expensive especially in Nashville but in a lot of places it’s very difficult to run a restaurant and turn a profit especially with the economy the way that it is um so I don’t know we’ll see maybe what doors open up someday if God opens those doors and calls us to do that then fantastic but in the meantime YouTube is the easiest way that I can take my recipes and get it to as many people as possible without needing a few million dollars in startup Capital so right but yeah yeah I would love if there was a carnivore restaurant and although I wouldn’t want to be the one cooking all the time because I have way many more things to do than than uh just want to be in a kitchen and you know putting all of my time into one particular business like that um as much as that would be cool that’s kind of not what I’m doing but I would love if there was a carnivore restaurant and I would love to be able to create recipes for one especially if I owned it and I had a team of people that could execute that that would be amazing mhm yeah who knows who knows what’s ahead maybe someday yeah we never thought you were going to have a a YouTube channel yeah this is a completely out of the blue thing that God dropped in her laps like hello here you go you got plans I’m going to change them on you that’s right so here we are yeah um Leon says um I’m just starting my carnivore journey and I’m really looking forward to trying your recipes I think the carnivore lifestyle is seriously underrated yes I totally agree you know I was watching a Dr Barry live stream he did it yesterday and uh we were busy filming yesterday so I didn’t get to see it live but I was watching it afterwards and after the fact today and he made the statement he and Nisha were talking in that video about you know carnivore is not the only way and there’s a whole group that have kind of become very dogmatic in the proper human diet space where they’re kind of doing you know the the only way is carnivore and carnivore works really well for me and I think for a lot of people keto works really well and there are some people that just low carb like anywhere under 100 gram a day works really well because it’s a spectrum and it’s what works best for whoever I think carnivore is amazing and I think even if you really do well on keto doing carnivore from time to time is a really nice thing I think it helps a lot kind of helps reset things but you know there are some of us I seem to be one of them that benefit from carnivore in ways that I don’t benefit on keto or any of that other stuff and it’s very possible you might be that way too uh and I totally agree with you I think carnivore is an awesome lifestyle and an awesome way to live and you know I have that flexibility to occasionally have other things like some onions if I want on a chili dog now because I did carnivore so strictly for so long and got my food addictions and things under control but it’s you know it’s it’s a process and it’s a journey and it’s a spectrum and having all of that you know in my brain and being able to kind of test all of that stuff out I’m like you and I have really settled on Carnivore um I think is a really cool thing I think everyone should give it a shot at least absolutely um several people including uh Sher arnada pup and t2q Cat a couple others are all saying that you know kind of not sure what your exact goal is but they could all see you with your own TV cooking show someday I would actually really enjoy doing that uh Ash and I are performers by nature and you know whether it’s whether it’s me doing a live stream for you whether I had a TV show cooking um whether I’m on stage playing guitar any of that kind of stuff I’m an artist I’m a creative person and I love performing uh and just entertaining and that that’s the thing you know with Chris cooking Nashville like these recipes are amazing to eat yes but I want to Plate them in a way that looks nice I want to be creative in the way that I do the videos and that’s the other thing I do do all my own video editing I’ve learned how to color grade and do all like the Hollywood style stuff like we bought all of the gear that it takes to do all that professionally um I’ve learned how to film I’ve learned how to do the audio side of things like that’s why like when I say over the last year and a half I’ve spent thousands of hours on this it’s not just the videos themselves it’s the you know 50 to 100 hours a week that goes in on the backside that you guys never see all that stuff it’s all that stuff too and I love doing these things because it’s all creative Outlet and Ash and I are creative and artistic people and you know we love that so I think having a TV show someday would be really fun yeah I think it would be really cool I don’t know who would do it I don’t know Food Network or uh Cooking Channel or any of those kinds of places would ever be interested in you know low carb type cooking shows but it sure would be fun if we could get that far into the mainstream that would be really really cool for sure as long as the dog still gets to be in the videos right we have we have a some things we’ll have a masc have a mascot we got to get we got to get on screen so yeah um I thought this um comment was just super sweet and I wanted to share this with you uh Ray bird says you are changing carnivore for us all thank you Chris for all the time you take to make these recipes and to share them with us thank you very much I’m I’m really trying because I’ll be honest when I was first doing this a lot of these recipes that I’m creating I didn’t see anything like this and there are some more carnivore recipes out there now but some of them are really great and some of them no offense to the creators are terrible um just you know you can’t create a recipe and just say well it’s the same shape as this other thing like pasta that’s made out of egg whites if you like something like that I think that’s awesome you know good for you and I’m glad you have it I’m glad it works but I’ll be honest if I take egg whites and I cook them and cut them into strips and I say it’s noodles that doesn’t do it um it just it’s it’s strips of egg white I know it’s strips of egg white cuz it tastes like strips of egg white so that’s why I started doing some of these recipes because they didn’t exist in the way that I wanted them to and I wanted to use them to stabilize myself on a carnivore diet if 6 days out of the week I’m eating ground beef and eggs or steak or you know whatever very simple things and then one night of the week I do something kind of cool recipe it’s fun it makes me feel a lot more stable and a lot more happy because I can get in the kitchen and be creative and so I started doing that because those things just didn’t exist out there and then I started sharing it and just kind of blew up and here we are you know so I I appreciate that I’m I’m having a blast doing it I hope that it is as meaningful for you guys as it is for me yeah a lot of people are encouraging you there’s several comments saying you should uh go and basically go for Food Network and go for it and you got it so maybe we’ll do that maybe someday well hey if any of you guys happens to know guy Fetti or you know any way of getting a hold of guy Fetti uh tell him I’m doing this stuff and he can come doing diner drive-ins and dives special knockoff show here in our kitchen and uh I’ll cook for him and I’ll show him I’ll show him some of my low carbs stuff so he’s kind of the king of the Food Network at this point so yeah um or Bobby fle those are the two the big two guys the big two guys mostly uh this is so funny Darth carnivore said only way I’m doing a competitive hot dog eating contest is with tonight’s recipe yeah there you go you know it’s really funny and that’s it’s funny that you say that I I was talking with someone in my comment section about these recipes cuz they were worried that if they tasted so good it would make them overeat and I said well it’s really up to you to determine that but I’m going to be honest when you make this egg white bread and you have nothing but pure protein and fat and the little bit of like the dairy from the cream in that I mean mostly what you’re getting is protein it is so filling like you look at it and you go oh I can eat like four of those right because I used to do that when I ate regular chili dogs I could eat massive amounts I can’t eat nearly as much of these as I used to eat of those other things no matter how good they taste and no matter how much like the original they taste I just I can’t get it in my stomach to go in there and not just make me feel honestly sick oh yeah like it’s it’s just too much just too much so I know we’ve talked about a lot of the time when we film a recipe video and you see us taste tested at the end you’ll put just like a little amount of whatever it is you know and you make it all pretty on a plate and I wo that down because it’s usually delicious yeah CU we’re we’re hungry and it’s late and it’s delicious yeah and it’s delicious or whatever and then by the time though that we’re like done filming and you turn that camera off there may be more on the the stove but I’m like I can’t do it like yeah a lot of times a lot of times we’re full by the time we get done with taste tests or we have a little bit more and leftovers have to go in the fridge yeah we usually always have leftovers which is which is nice mix is good um Seline 77 star99 see cuz I actually got my phone so I was say I got I got your phone I got my phone I got all this stuff that’s awesome well guys I really appreciate that because that channel is going to be a really cool place where I’m going to go into my nerd side um you know a lot of you probably wouldn’t know this um I like to think of myself as an intellectual although I uh although I am very much like a you know just a country kid that comes from a small town and I wear a lot of camo um I got good grades in college I was I was always a smart enough kid to kind of do whatever I wanted and I’m pretty well researched I get the comment all the time you have to have been a chef or a cook or something prior to this and no I’ve never worked professionally in a kitchen um I’ve waited tables so I know kind of how some kitchens run and I’ve watched stupid amounts of other chefs and I’ve trained with any materials I can find from famous chefs and you know things on the internet but as far as my own actual career I’ve never I’ve never worked in a kitchen I am purely self-taught and self-trained and what you see here is just Knowledge from research and learning things and going more obsessive and deep than probably just about any of you out there would ever be able to um because your brains probably work normal as opposed to the way mine works but um I I just get really obsessive about these things and I go super deep and that Health Channel I think is going to be an opportunity to let you guys see a little bit of like when I’m watching medical research videos on low carb stuff and I find interesting news articles and whatever like where does my brain go why do I think the way that I do and then once I know something how do I take that concept and figure out well how do we apply that to our lives Liv so that Ash and I are getting the nutrients we need and avoiding the stuff that’s not good for us and that’s you know when I create these recipes like I’m playing with that balance of making things good but not putting things in that are going to hinder our health and it’s it’s a it’s a whole thing and so when you can attach those videos with my recipe videos I think you guys will have a more complete understanding of how I think and why I do what I do sure well they always say you know knowledge is power yes so I think any tool that kind of helps you understand why we eat the way that we do and then have a recipe to go back on and if there’s a tool to help you guys to understand how to eat I’m the one that’s right that’s right sorry that was really good that was a really wants to know what was your first carnivore recipe on YouTube my first carnivore recipe on YouTube I believe was the chicken fried steak which we actually just redid this last weekend I’ve changed the ratios of the breading just slightly um and just kind of updated that because I’ll be honest if you go watch the first carnivore videos that I was doing on YouTube I am so sorry they were terrible I didn’t know what I was doing had an old phone I was just you know as every YouTuber is you start out knowing nothing and looking like absolute trash on your videos and then you learn as you go um and that video was terrible but the recipe is amazing and so I redid that actually this last weekend and that video is on the channel now so if you want to see the old version and the new version you get to see me get skinnier and you get to see the video get a whole lot better yeah so Plus in the new one you make your mashed ttis yep and your gravy yep I paired it with the mashed potato and the gravy all in one video and then just I linked to the the gravy and the mashed potatoes um as well but uh it’s the first time I’ve paired those three together because I created the mashed potato recipe that I’m so well known for after well after I had done the carnivore chicken fried steak yes it’s awesome so that was I mean we’re we’re heading in the direction of two years ago yeah it’s a it’s really this Saturday is a great question and something we definitely got to talk about so it’s funny we’re using the bread tonight we’re going to be using the bread again on Saturday because we have keto and carnivore versions of French toast I’ve had a number of people in the comments ask me can you do french toast with this can you make French toast with this and I thought you know what it’s time to find out so I experimented and I figured out the right way way to do it and yes you can do french toast so I did a Savory carnivore version which you were not going to want to miss because it was was it not as good as the sweet version it may have been better may have been better like seriously the best just French toast period not keto not carnivore it was just the best French toast and then he gave me the carnivore version and I I died yeah it died it was so it was so good so I did a carnivore version which is Savory I did a keto version which was sweet and I made the uh the homemade keto maple syrup ex the the stuff that I do with the maple extract same as what I did with my pancakes but I did a bigger batch of it and kind of show you guys how to do that again on there and show you how to get this bread specifically to work that well doing French toast and it’s buttery and it’s crispy around the edges and it was hot and it was eggy in the right way not the not the nasty eggy thing everyone worries about but the right kind of eggy like French toast and the syrup was awesome and the carnivore version was just amazing it was like the best brunch style dish I’ve ever had uh it’s it’s really going to be fantastic so you guys have to make sure you’re ready for that on on Saturday it’s going to be a it’s going to be a great video Yeah plan on plan on either Saturday or Sunday morning making the French toast yes because it it it was so good I told CH it was like one of my favorite things he’s ever made it it was really awesome and if you guys have not tried that bread recipe I have linked that bread recipe down below and if you tried it and youve struggled struggled with it don’t give up it does take a little bit of tweaking sometimes to figure out with your eggs you’re using the type of egg white powder you have your oven your humidity and your elevation all this stuff it can all affect it a little bit so go and make that bread recipe if you struggle with it comment on the video or send me an email let me know what happen send me pictures if you can whatever come find me and let me help you get it right because with some tweaking you can absolutely nail it and I’m I’m telling you you’re going to be hard pressed for anybody to know it’s not bread if you do it right mhm if anyone says that it’s like eggy or it’s dry or it’s memory foam or it’s not good or they’re tasting weird things whatever no offense to them they probably did something wrong because it I mean it’s just it is honestly that good that my standard American diet family members all ate it and loved it mhm and they said it just tasted like bread yeah well and if it tasted like an egg or like Styrofoam I wouldn’t eat it oh yeah Ash would spit it out I would have said oh no yeah all the other egg white breads I’ve ever tried to make I mean God bless all the creators that have made them I appreciate the work that they’ve done uh it just the the recipe did not work for Ash and she spit them on out and I I mean I tried to how many of those did I try I tried too many four five six something like that different recipes from different people and none of them would would pass muster and she was just like no I love you but no so yeah she was very concerned about this one when I made it yeah she did not think I got nervous but you know what though I’ve had it so many times at this point and it’s oh made this us for dinner forious dishes and St we’ve probably had this 78 n times now yeah so Mary K Wy wants to know so what time on Saturday should they look for that French toast video that’s coming out 9:00 a.m. Central Standard Time my Saturday videos come out at 9 a.m. here in Nashville time which is Central Standard so that’s 10:00 on the east coast and should be 700 a.m. on the west coast I believe awesome and then we have the health Vlog coming out tomorrow yep we have the health Vlog coming out tomorrow we’re talking all about not trying to do this alone because I made the mistake and went off the rails as a carnivore uh by trying to have too much pride and not admit that I was struggling with some things and not deal with my food addiction and I didn’t have anyone to lean on I tried to be uh big and tough and bad and I don’t need anybody else to you know help me with this I’ve got it and I went off the rails on my carb addiction and it wasn’t until I finally admitted it was a carb addiction and started creating my YouTube channel and found a community of people that I was able to be successful so we’re talking a little bit about that tomorrow in the health Vlog so make sure you guys tune that and share that and uh there might be a little surprise coming Thursday too there is yes so it’s all I’m going to say about that but it’s it’s going to be it’s going to be a little fun something yeah well hey so many people on here are talking about how great your bread recipe is and that they make it all the time and it always just turns out um you know perfect and how much they appreciate it I’m so glad um maybe we could do one more question before we we go uh eat our chili dogs um I thought this was a great great want to talk about though so Dustin Wright says while cooking this way instead of a more strict very low carb dinners do you find yourself still losing weight yeah that’s a great question um if I’m cooking this way first of all I’m not doing it every single night let me let me preface this answer with saying I do this once maybe twice a week um depending on the videos we have to film most of the other times uh I’m I’m doing like well I did video that’s going to be coming out for you guys doing an air fryer review for typher the typher Dome air fryer and it’s got this incredible chicken recipe called roadkill chicken you guys are going to love this um that basically we sat down and Ash ate half of that chicken and I ate the other half and that’s all we had for dinner um you know a lot of times it’s ground beef and eggs so I cook very simply most of the time so when I do these recipes it’s once maybe twice a week and then maybe we have leftovers or something depending on how much of the recipe I make or whatever I also tend to do one meal a day sometimes I do two it just you know sort of varies depends on how I’m feeling if I’m being pretty strict carnivore most of the time and I’m doing this kind of stuff on occasion I do still lose weight now it is a lot slower than what it was when I first started doing this but I was doing this and I was losing 2 to 4 lbs a week for like several months and I’m 130 lb now down from my heaviest that I know of uh and and it’s all been while eating this way so it varies for everybody I also have this philosophy that my body will lose weight when it is ready if I’m doing the right things so unless I go 6 months without losing a single pound or more importantly if I go six months and I’m gaining weight then I will start getting concerned but other than that as long as I’m feeling good and as long as these things don’t cause any stress on my body they don’t cause any of the issues that I had when I was standard American diet I generally feel good and I eat and I just try not to overdo some of those things and keep myself fairly clean when I can so but I’m I’m not I’m not beating my head against a wall about it and I don’t feel like that’s helpful for most people to do so I I tend to be pretty casual about it and I just kind of work to be a little bit better every day yeah it’s awesome yeah cool it’s a great question yeah I thought I thought I thought it was a really good one so absolutely awesome well babe I think we got to all the questions um 22 qcat says your hot dogs are getting cold so we we’ we’ve done our jobs yes yes that’s all right we honestly y’all we are so used to eating cold food because of all the videos we film cuz by the time you get shots and set all the cameras up for the taste test and everything I mean it takes forever we eat cold food all the time so I’m just at this point I’m just used to it so but I appreciate you guys being concerned about it we’re grateful that you all tune in to our Tuesday night live streams here or that you know we’re able to especially now do you know YouTube full time and so for us part of it is you know we get to eat cold food and that’s totally okay with us absolutely it’s a it’s a thing we’re happy to do I eat cold food and as a result of that these live streams bring in a little bit of money that helps sustain this so that I don’t have to go to work as an armed security guard and potentially get shot every day anymore what a concept yeah yeah it’s great so we’ll eat cold chili dogs don’t worry I’m sure can heat him back up too he’s pretty Onion layers are curved. If you cut the first set of cuts 'radially' , there's no need to do the horizontal cut. NB even chefs dont get 'consistent' onion cubes unless they (generally) do more than one horizontal cut. I've sewed up WAAAY to many folks (professional and home cooks) in ED who slipped while doing the horizontal cuts. Also i leave the root end on to hold the last slice together to the last cut

Aw I missed it live, but I bet this is awesome. I still haven't ordered egg white powder but am gonna – am gonna make me some carnivore bread n buns and good eats! I been making the cot ch and burger zapped into pink goo and broiled – into amazing browned delicious hamburgers. My son has learned how and is making a batch right now! He loves em too!
When I made the hamburger buns it was not for me so I'm sure I did something wrong so I'll try again…thank you for your shows ❤praise the Lord Jesus ❤

Made these last night except I didn’t have the molds. Made in bread pan and sliced accordingly. Frick’n delicious. Used my own chili recipe.
