Ingredients:

Ground Beef

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup onion
½ pound ground beef
1 tablespoon ginger and garlic paste
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
½ tablespoon cumin powder
1 cup chopped tomatoes
Salt as you like
4 whole Thai chilies

French Fries

1 medium/large potatoes

Salt as you like

Black pepper as you like

3 slices American cheese or you can also use mozzarella cheese

Garnish

Chopped cilantro
Chopped jalapeno
Chopped onion

Preparation:

1. Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and fry it until becomes translucent. Add the beef and stir to break up.
2. Add ginger and garlic paste, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, chopped tomatoes, Thai chilies and salt as you like.
3. Cook thoroughly for about 15-20 minutes.

French fries

1. Peel and rinse the potatoes. Then cut them into sticks.
2. Place them in a large bowl and cover with cold water. Allow them to soak for about 2-3 hours. You can also put it in a fridge and soak overnight.
3. When you are ready to make the fries, drain all the water and use paper towels for any remaining water.
4. Heat a few inches of the oil in a pot at 300° F. In multiple batches cook the potatoes until it becomes soft. You are not looking for a brown texture as of yet. Remove each batch and dry it with paper towel
5. Once all the potatoes have been fried at 300° F, turn up the heat to 400° F and start frying the potatoes again in batches. At this point you will fry them until it gets the crispy brown texture.
6. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper.

Chili cheese fries

1. Have the fries on a microwavable bowl and add slices of cheese. Microwave for about 1-1&1/2 minutes.
2. Ladle the chili over the fries and top with cilantro, onion & jalapeno.
3. Enjoy!
