In my experience, this is the norm. I never get the Crunchwrap as it’s always thing and loaded to one side

  2. BentheBruiser

Theyve taken quite a nosedive in quality over the years. You usually end up with a whole lot of nothing followed by a pocket of cheese at the end.

In my experience, not even going double meat tends to help.

I switched to the cheesey gordita crunch for my boxes a while ago

  3. whaat why is everyone saying normal i get some loaded ones

  4. joostinrextin

Depends on who made it. I get some like that. When I snagged the $1 drop on Tuesday, it was packed full like it should be. Pretty much all their items now vary by who makes them.

  5. Godiva_Shaman

it’s fairly common, but not the norm. it’s definitely supposed to have more in it. TB quality control, especially of the crunchwrap, varies SO much. thankfully my go-to location does a pretty good job of filling them up.

Isn’t Taco Bell literally getting hit with a lawsuit of false advertising over their Crunchwraps? Because they always look this thin and pathetic now.

I remember back in the day when they actually had filling and looked like they did in the ads. I haven’t had one in years now.

  7. 70% of the time, yes that’s normal.

But 30% of the time you’ll get a perfect, loaded, incredible crunchwrap. And once you have one, you’ll be chasing that high forever.

  8. Disastrous-Zone-5335

Yup. That’s why they are the worst item.

  9. Sea_Bottle5003

THAT IS NOT NORMAL. If that’s normal for anyone, please find a new Taco Bell!!!!

  10. Chippers4242

A little thin, but they’re never actually full. This is more normal than a stuffed one.

  11. orchestralgenius

Unfortunately, yes. That’s partly why I only order them when they are part of the Taco Tuesday drops. I’d pay $1 for this, but not $5-ish.

if OP or anyone has a moes southwest grill near them
i highly recommend stopping by and getting yourself a stack. it’s their version of the crunchwrap and it never disappoints!!

  13. Acrobatic-Web9881

Mine was like that yesterday. Will not be getting a crunchwrap again

  14. cconnorss

Honestly it all depends on location. My closest location does a good job about 70% of the time. We just got a couple last week that were some of the best Crunchwraps I’ve ever had! With the cheese it cracked in it. They absolutely packed it.

I miss the double Crunchwrap, because it was actually stuffed and one was enough.

  15. TheSpanishKarmada

no most places i’ve gone to don’t make it this thin

  16. originalGhosty

You have to tell them it’s your birthday…

  17. ballwallz

Back in the day they used to actually look like the photo, filled with meat… this is more of the reality these days sadly :/ that’s why I never get them anymore.

I’ve noticed if I go through the drive thru my food will be skimpy as hell like this. But when I go in and say it’s for here not to go then it’s hooked up almost every time. Any fast food I go to now I go inside say it’s for here and then take it to go lol. Little fast food hack I guess

There’s one in Cleveland that gives good portions, but the rest I’ve been to have been near empty like that one. The last time I ordered tbell, they forgot both of my crunchwraps, and then when I went back and showed them they gave me beef instead of black bean. Couldn’t eat em.

  20. No-Significance387

They are so hit or miss. Occasionally I get one made right and it’s a 10/10. Usually i get them and they’re a 4/10.

  21. themeltedmonkey

    Sub beef to chicken
    Add creamy jalapeno

    Best version of the Crunchwrap

  22. MattMattavelli

Back in the days, they used to be the most filling single item on the menu. They were stuffed with beef.

Now they usually look like what you got. I just ordered one the other day, and unfortunately, it will be my last.

  23. joopityjoop

This is normal smh. Which sucks because the crunchwrap can easily be the best item on the menu if they make it right.

If you’ve never made homemade crunchwraps before, I highly recommend it. Go to store and get some 12 inch flour tortillas, some canned nacho cheese (or make it yourself), buy some sour cream and mix it with a bit of water so the consistency is like TB’s sour cream. Sky’s the limit. They turn out STACKED and delicious.

I just tried the new Cheez-it Crunch Wrap on Sunday, and it was huge. I subbed steak for ground beef and added refried beans, shredded cheese and extra sour cream. It was SO heavy. My Taco Bell is great most of the time. They have issues with running out of things and staffing, but they have some really nice people and they do the best they can.

  25. scallopedtatoes

It’s normal at my location. Sometimes it’s a little fuller, but it’s not a filling option. I can buy a few items off the value menu for the same price and be more full.

  26. logan_fish

100% Normal. Right on the button 🎯 And thats the way it is. This is their way……..

  27. standdownplease

The last time I had a good crunchwrap was the time I was dumb high at Walmart and bought a $10 Crunchwrap kit.

  28. SportsBall89

I don’t have that issue in WNY but god damn they did you wrong

  29. optiplexus

Location matters! It’s all about who’s working the kitchen. You gotta find the “good Taco Bell” in your area and only go to that one.

  30. MooseMullet

They messed me up on a couple of beefy5 at mine. Hoping it isn’t standard practice because for what you pay it’s a massive bummer to open the bag at home to find the things empty.

  31. Choice-Second-5587

Sadly it is now. When they first came out it was a whole ass pocket of food easily close to like a pound or half pound, either way it was heavy and filling. Now it just enrages me. I’ve stopped getting them despite loving them years ago.

  32. SandraLynnS

I stopped ordering them altogether, even though they used to be my favorite. There’s just not enough filling, even when you pay extra for more meat. It’s better to modify the stacker.

  33. Busy_Challenge1664

I get the blackbean one and its always pretty full

  34. NewDrew-2

Not normal. Many employees are told to skimp on ingredients. There is no way that should be 5.50. They robbed you.

Add rice or potatoes. I add both to my crunchwrap and I haven’t had a bad experience in years

  37. BeautifulBoy92

Yeah, the cheese and sour cream will also be confined to different quadrants of the tortilla as well.
