Had a Customer rage out that we closed at 1 mid line last night


So as you guys know it was the Fourth of July last night. Things got busy for only 3 employees. Line wrapped around the building kinda busy all the way from 10pm(with each one of us taking a lunch so lunches left 2 people in the whole store and didn't get finished for us until about 1145 since we went back to back as each person came back) we started running out of food and pulling the last of the food out the thermalizer around 1220. We hit 1 when we close. Line still around the building. Mad the ultimate decision to take 3 more orders then shut it down. The person that gets told the unlucky news is obviously pissed which I completely understand. What I don't tolerate is a man who curses out my female employee to the point of crying, throwing a temper tantrum and ultimately pull out the drive thru the hard way over the curb and fucking up our speaker box. I'm a shift lead and made an executive decision considering we didn't even finish the rest of the orders(all 12+) that were already taken until about 120am. We left at a good 345am and we usually aim for 2-230am. Am I the Asshole in this situation?
