The perfume of these fried squids with garlic reminds me of the holidays and the walks in the narrow streets of Barcelona. So from time to time I like to eat this dish as Spanish tapas. Finely slice the onion Crush the garlic cloves Peel them Chop them Cut the pepper into small cubes Cut the hot peppers into small chunks You can watch my video that explains the squid cutting techniques Choose the cut you prefer Dry the squids with paper towels Cover them with flour Put them in a colander Shake to remove the excess flour Fry half the squids over high heat, 180° Celsius, for 2 minutes Stir from time to time Remove them and put them on paper towels Continue frying the other half of the squids To finalize the dish: Put 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan heated over high heat When the oil is hot, add the chopped garlic Stir occasionally When the garlic starts to brown, add: The onion The pepper The ground pepper The salt Stir for 30 seconds Add the fried squids Mix and cut the fire Your tapas of fried squids is ready! Bon appétit! Thank you for watching and sharing my recipe. Rendez-vous in my next homemade dish video.

  1. Great video and such a lovely family. I love deep fried food, but what do you do with the excess oil, use again or discard it?

  2. The little girl on the left looked like she wanted something else. Much like my daughter. They don't know how good things are until their pallet matures.
