My first trip to my wife’s hometown in Mexico and this is the salsa aisle in one of the stores

Ohnestly surprised how much of this we have in TX. I think the biggest take away is so many different chili oils. I'll post what I got when I get home because its all packed.

Salsa === sauce in spanish so there will be mad sauce.

I’d go with every local brand/sauce possible.

There’s a lot more that I recognize and can get at the full size Mexican Grocery store here. They had Asian sauces like Ponzu up there. There’s one called La Negra Va that I bought just because it wouldnt play so well as a big brand in the USA and that amused me but it’s so good.

I too choose this guy’s wife’s hometown in Mexico’s salsa aisle in one of the stores.

    This selection makes me awestruck.

That actually looks like my Texas H-E-B. Mexico is full of H-E-B’s, best grocery stores in Mexico. And the best grocery stores in the United States. Now I think about it, probably best grocery store in the world!
