Why is my ghost pepper plant not producing any flowers?

I have a ghost pepper plant that I planted back in May that is obviously really doing well (it’s the healthiest looking plant in my little garden). However, it produced only about 3 flowers total since I’ve had it, and that was about a month ago. I live just outside of Nashville and have it planted in the ground. It’s about 4 feet tall and 3-4’ wide and no sign of any disease or pest issues. Anyone know how to encourage it to start producing flowers?

Lots of reasons but my first guess based on the photo is probably too much nitrogen or not enough calcium. It’s just a guess though.

I have a yellow ghost pepper plant that is bigger than almost all my peppers and just recently started growing a handful of peppers. Before that, it was all leaves and branches and the few flowers would drop after a few days. Mine seems to have some kind of disease unlike yours. But 90% of the leaves are unaffected. It got the same potting mix as my other peppers and gets the same fertilizer. Go figure 🤷‍♂️

Feed it some K. If the N/K ratio is too high, flower production is suppressed.

They look too happy, probably nitrogen. I use a foliar spray of 1/2 strength Lunox bloom 0-10-10. You should see it freaking out and shooting blooms in a few weeks if that’s the issue.
