Chilli pepper plants not really growing in size and leaves turning yellow

What’s going on my with chilli peppers? The leaves aren’t really getting bigger nor is the plant gaining size in addition the leaves are starting to turn yellow. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, I’m new to this
