Growing these Wax peppers (I think, grown from a friends seeds, no packet) for the first time and I keep seeing everyone say they ripen to an orange/red. Some of these have been yellow and full grown for 2-3 weeks. How long do I wait here? Or is this a different type that doesn’t turn red? Thanks!

Trust me and start consuming them at this stage, (crunchy with a hint of heat to it) that’s what I’m doing this season. I only keep one on each plant and wait for it to become fully ripe just for next season seeds.
Edit: from this stage it’ll take more than a month to start turning red.
