Can you pin the recipe in the comments plz
Hot honey FriedShrimp
Fry at 375 F for 1-2 Minutes
1.6 Lb Jumbo Shrimp
1 Cup Buttermilk
1 Cup Flour
1/3 Cup Cornstarch
2 Tsp Onion Powder
2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 Tsp Paprika
1 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
1 Tbsp Black Pepper
2 Tsp Red Chili Flakes
1 Tsp Salt
———-
Sauce
1 Jalapeño (Chopped)
2 Tbsp Butter unsalted
3 Cloves Garlic
1/2 – 1 Tsp Red Chili Flakes
1/3 Cup Honey
Pinch Paprika
————
Directions –
To a bowl, add the shrimp and pour buttermilk over them. Mix everything together until it’s nicely combined. Let the shrimp marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
In another bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, red chili flakes, salt, and mix it all up. Set it aside.
Now, take the shrimp out of the marinade and make sure to get rid of any extra buttermilk so the shrimp doesn’t get too wet. Add a few shrimp at a time to the flour mixture and coat them all over until they’re nicely covered. Then, take out any extra flour with a strainer or shake the shrimp to get rid of it.
To a pan on medium-high heat, add 3 inches of frying oil (your choice) and bring the oil to 375°F.
Fry the shrimp in batches to prevent overcrowding and to prevent the temperature from dropping. Fry for 1-2 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and let set on a wire rack.
Hot Honey Sauce
In a skillet on medium-low heat, add butter and let it melt.
To the melted butter, add diced jalapeños, red chili flakes, paprika, and honey. Mix until combined, and once the mixture starts to bubble, kill the heat and serve over the cooked shrimp.
Serve hot and enjoy.
Looks simple and delicious!!
