That sucks. I had them for the first time yesterday (though I got the cantina chicken ones) and they were just like the photo and also really tasty. Very filling for the small size too.

I tried these for the first time too yesterday with chicken. They were decently filled but the shells were so hard I damn near chipped a tooth on them….. They were crunchy and falling apart as I bit into them…..
I could see these being good if fresh and properly filled but for how inconsistent the taco bells around me are and for $5.49 it’s definitely not worth taking the risk again. Very disappointing.
