Today (July 31st) Taco Bell has 15% off Cantina chicken items. But why?
Are they transitioning to a new menu & wanting to get rid of the stock?
Are the items not selling well?
Are they too expensive for customers?
Or is it just a regular promotion to get people in the doors/drive thru?
I will admit, I was happy to see that pop up today (love a good discount), but then I remembered they are fairly high-priced items.
I did like the new green packet sauce that came with the cantina taco though. Forget what it's called.

I’ve only had the taco once when it was a sale for 1 dollar. Never tried the other menu items.
Even with 15% the burrito is super pricy. I think I’ll pass.
Most companies do “random” sales and price drops to boost sales in a dying or slowing market. They know the cantina chicken is too expensive so they are hoping with the drop you’ll enjoy the product enough this time, you might be willing to spend that extra half dollar or whatever amount the next time on the same product. Just enjoy the discount and still boycott it afterwards, they’ll get the message faster that way.
Because they can, Tina
Overpriced food. Even at 50%.
It’s delish, I ordered one immediately.
15% off something overpriced by 1500% 👌
It’s National Cantina Chicken Day
It’s just a promo. Don’t hurt yourself
Wednesdays are slow sales days maybe?
Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up (it’s the first of the month)
It annual “I’m broke Bitch ” day
I got it and it was solid
And still 35% overpriced.😂😂😂
But to your answer your question… Likely to compete with Chipotle offering free guac today.
I almost bought into the discount but i thought “wait a minute im still paying MORE than what I usually order”
F that noise lol
They are free right now too… You can add just the taco to the cart and checkout for $0.00
But get this… You can get an UNLIMITED AMMOUNT.
Taco Bell still hasn’t fixed it…. Been this way for a long time now
