Hey folks,
Back again with questionable peppers on a real hyperspecific scale! These are both supposed to be Jaracuaro Oranges. I can’t find too much about them online, so I’m extra stumped.
The first three pictures are from my first plant, where all of the peppers have grown straight up instead of hanging down. It has one orange pepper, and the rest are that dark green that look as is they’re turning purple (matchbox for size).
The last two pictures are from my second plant. Those peppers grew by hanging off the plant, are curled, and have started to turn red (matchbox for size).
These were both grown from seed packets from White Hot Pepper, all kept in separate containers for germination/hardening, and only planted with anything else when they had grown enough to be put into the ground. I feel like they HAVE to be with same pepper because of the circumstances, but I’ve honestly got no idea. Anyone who knows about Jeracuaros or anyone who is just really good at pointing out what I’m missing. Thanks so much in advance!
