LEARN HOW TO MAKE THESE SPICY CHILI OIL RAMEN NOODLES IN AS LITTLE AS 10MIN!
LAY HO MA (how’s it going in Cantonese)! Not much in this world is more welcoming than a steamy plate of chili ramen noodles after a long day of work. Join me in this episode and learn how to make an incredible 10 minute chili oil ramen noodles recipe today!
Ingredients:
1L water
50g broccolini
60g smoked tofu
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp sriracha
1 tbsp tahini
1 piece garlic (grated)
1 tbsp + 1 tsp chili oil (https://youtu.be/IkBWsfsEVkM)
100g dried ramen noodles
1/2 stick green onions
1 tsp white sesame seeds
Directions:
1. Fill a small pot with the water. Chop the broccolini into bite sized pieces. Thinly slice the smoked tofu. Add both the broccolini and smoked tofu into the small pot of water and bring to a boil
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sriracha, tahini, grated garlic, and 1 tbsp chili oil
3. When the water comes to a boil, add the dried ramen noodles and cook to package instructions (in this case 3mins). Add a couple splashes of the cooking water to the mixing bowl
4. Drain out the water from the noodles and veggies. Transfer to the mixing bowl and gently fold into the sauce. Plate and garnish with freshly chopped green onions, white sesame seeds, and drizzle of chili oil

Looks amazing. I need to get a copy of your cookbook.
Hi Will, I made this recipe. Its very easy. I didn't have smoked tofu on hand so I used extra firm tofu cut into chunks. I marinated the tofu chunks in Liquid smoke for a few minutes before adding it to the water. It tasted great. Thanks again for an easy recipe that tastes great.
I swear, you should make a yeung man cooking bible out of those books.
I would buy and display that for sure!
Yummy 😋 I Love it.thank you for the recipe ❤
Seeing this is peace, when working from home confused what to cook
What an excellent idea for preparation ie cooking veggies tofu and then adding the ramen. I can use gluten free noodles❤❤❤thank you and I always have a batch of chili oil on hand too
Ah, I went to the Asian grocery store on the weekend and got some of those knife cut noodles. I was planning chili oil noodles with dumplings tomorrow. I think this will fit the bill nicely! Is the tahini a replacement for Chinese toasted sesame paste?
I didn't have the ingredients to make your chili oil, so I substituted it with sweet heat chili crunch. I also minced the white of the scallion to throw into the sauce along with a bit of brown sugar. Sauteed a handful of mushrooms in some soy sauce, deglazed with sake, and threw a fried egg on top. With or without the egg, this is going to be a new go-to lunch in my household. Thank you for sharing.,
HI WIL IT'S SO NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN Y IT'S UMAMI MEAL TIME. YUMMY 😋 ❤❤ BB
hey, will – for someone who can't have hot sauces peppers or chili oil, what alternatives do you recommend?
You are one of my favorites!!! Thank you for sharing.
Thx buddy. I will try it at the weekend 😊
I can’t find smoked tofu😢😢
So glad I doubled the recipe…the flavours are absolutely sublime! This dish was super easy to make, and my first taste of smoked tofu will most decidedly not be my last. I am a convert! I only had rice noodles on hand and they substitute beautifully. This dish will be a regular from now on. Thanks Wil!
I can never make your recipes. Cant get ingredients. From South Africa😢
😋👍
Delicious…….Topped it off with sliced veggie omelet made with Just Egg. Fast and easy. My go-to meal!
Im going to get you into trouble. Which one is your favorite book? i cant decide! Saludos desde México!
I can't eat tofu..is there a substitute I can use for this dish? Thank you!
