First time growing anything (datil pepper)

Hello reddit,

This is my first time growing anything, so little knowledge of anything. I am growing this datil pepper and all I have been doing is giving it water! I've switch the pots twice and has definitely helped! I am curious to why the ends of the plants are dying and why some of the leaves have these tears on them? Anything I can do to help speed up the growth of these? I tried reading but couldn't tell if they were the right answers! Thanks!
