Fall time makes me want Chili- a big pot of it. I like to freeze the left overs in quart bags so I’ll have a quick meal on busy cold days. There are all kinds of different ways to make chili. Share what kind of beans you put in yours. I put pinto beans in mine and sometimes I put kidney beans. Cooking with Brenda Gantt

  4. Brenda, we put corn chips and grated block extra sharp cheddar on the bottom the of the bowl and pour the chili on top of that- it’s good!

  5. I feed it to my dog s an cats over their hard food not all it once.keep your grease in the fridge. Put some fat on them before winter.my animal s are out side animal s..but I'll chop up a green onion. If i have it.an cheese.o MOM its good

I buy 90/10 and there’s no liquid in mine at all it’s a little more expensive but I don’t feel like I’m through oh money out the back yard my granny put the liquid from the-hamburger meat in with the slop that she feed the hogs or over the old bread she was giving to the chicken nothing went to waist around her house !

  9. We put Fritos in the bottom of a bowl, then put chili on top, then grated cheese and a dollop of sour cream. It’s kinda mock Frito Pie. And eat with crackers or cornbread, if we have it. Yummy!!!!! And we don’t put beans of any kind in our chili, ever!

  11. Lime cut a lime in slices avocado cut in slices sliced radishes the red ones thin can be hot they taste hot. Only couples slices in sticks lime bright the chili the avocado is cooling sour cream is cooling radishes jazzy it up cheese makes everything sticky hard to clean 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

I don’t know if you get to read this because you made the chilli the other day I guess last Sunday and today is Sunday also but I made chili today and we always had an onion and some celery and our which chops some celery and then when it’s done either we put it with some rice we put it on top of rice even known to put it on top of a small pasta my grandma used to do that to fill our bellies and we were kids she would make small little pastas and put some of the chili on top of thatand yes we have put cheese and sour cream on it also you could do a lot with chili it’s wonderful

  13. I learned while visiting my cousins in TX, that real chili does not have beans in it. Also, it is made with cubed beef and not hamburger. I was very surprised but, I learned something new!
