About 2-3 inches in length. Fairly soft flesh when ripe, almost papery when really ripe. Hot but not ghost hot. The really noteworthy attribute of these is that they basically fall off of the stem when ripe if you just brush them – I did not manually remove the stem purposefully. It just happens.
