A quick and easy Mexican chiles toreados dish of jalapeno and serrano peppers blistered or fried in oil, with a touch of salt and lime. Just like your local taqueria! I eat these like candy! They are crazy good.

I can share with you my recipe for marrinated chillies. I make it with long red chillies and jalapenos, but it is made traditionaly with Bulgarian hot peppers – Shipka and Ribki (Shipka are not very tasty in general and are brutally hot although they give them 15-30k Scovilles, Ribka are mild but very tasty peppers, and by mild i mean they can be not hot at all). Do you have a way to find those in US? Hit me up if you are interested.
Hello
Love this recipe. I wonder what your take on stuffed peppers would be. I remember eating Chilli Relanos if that is how it is spelt, and would like to see your version of this if possible please. Thank you from GB.
Is this really a Mike recipe if there's no "gorgeous garlic blooming"? Haha just kidding. Great recipe, gonna make these today as I just bought a whole bunch of jalapenos.
I need to make more of your recipes. Been following the channel since I made the addictive creamy jalapeño sauce. Everything you make just seems awesome
Yum
I love this channel
Nice! I bet those would be great on a burger as well.
Oh yeah!!!
Nice. I would also use this as a basis for an Indian style chili pickle… if I do not just eat them all.
Awesome! I go to a little taco shop and the have them quartered and cooked at room temperature in a bowl next to the salsas, pickled onions, cilantro, diced onion, and lemons! They are like having fries with a burger! Delicious:)
Love what you are doing here. Jalapeños in the market suck! Grow your own. Serrano is the new Jalapeño in the supermarket. Those too can be lackluster as well. Moral of the story is grow your own!
This is my favorite 'chili head' channel.
I used to throw three halved j's in the pan and incorporate them in my fabulous low carb/high fiber tortilla which I'd make pliable by warming directly over the gas flame.., with arugula, Greek yogurt, veg chx tenders, or falafel, and Tapatio aaand some cheese crumble of sorts… Stuffed to the gills… Wrapped that baby up in wax paper and again in foil.. Easy transport to work and, well, suffice it to say, my lunch was a most delicious one.
I miss my walking and food prep routine. I really miss it a LOT!!
I love the different flavors in the different pepper varieties. I'll choose a Serrano over a jalapeño as the j's are very unpredictable with their heat. I like it spicier than not.
Ok, thank you for another delicious video.
🌶❤️
I always get a side of jalapenos and onions, sometimes with some tomatoes tossed in. Goes well with all Mexican dishes.
I like the taste of the Jalapenos. But they bred the heat out of most and made thicker skinned. So started adding Serrano Chile. Love when I can find hot Jalapenos.
WARNING!! (for men only) Made a batch last night and this Was like a candy. Put a lid on them after turning the fire out and made everything so tender. The only problem I had after cutting the Jalapeno and Seranos was I had to go to the bathroom – quickly. Washed my hands with soap and water, but it didn't help. I was running around the house for 5 minutes singing "This Man is on FIRE) I hadn't had that feeling for years.. I'll be wearing gloves the next time. 🙂
Around Houston it looks like they just throw them in the deep fryer for a minute. I used to ask for the “grilled” jalapeños and then I learned their name…
Love it , thanks
What they called when in soy sauce? thought the same thing? place in Midland has them in soy sauce and they are so dangerous good.
LOVE IT Mike! Great job.
Oh I have to try this!! 👍🙌🔥
You are absolutely correct awesome
