Few peppers have blossom end rot – really don’t care. Other questions though.

Im new to growing in general. Few peppers have bottom end rot and don’t really care. I’ve just cut them early and tossed them. Then I got to thinking … with leafs you can bury them deep into the soil if it’s grounded up or very small. I’ve done this since it was established and had no issues. I also use sourdough discard since it’s great for multiple things. I throw a blunt and every now and then coffee spent coffee grounds. Honestly the plant BLEW up. I should use compost (I did at the beginning because this was spent soil) but I just don’t wanna pay $10-$15 plus driving 20 minutes out the way for it locally.

Can you break down an actual pepper and bury it deep for additional nutrients? I often forget to water my plants and fertilize them because I’m forgetful. It was great when it was raining because I didn’t have to think about it.

Here is a photo of the pepper as well. Ihf
