carolina reaper. leave them on and i bet they’ll turn red eventually. orange reaper pheno does exist though so i guess it’s possible.

How long do reapers take to start the color change? I have a bunch on my plant that are about full size but still bright green.

I had a storm blow through a couple weeks ago and knocked off a bunch of pods. You can see the green to dark spot to orange to red transition. I’ve had some full blown orange pods. The phenotypes that come off Carolina Reaper plants can be all over the place.
I’ve had a few plants that didn’t turn out as advertised. Usually I just wait until the color is uniform. Those pain berries aren’t gonna suffer a lot even if you’re wrong and pick them a bit early
