I'm so excited! I watched them grow throughout the summer and I couldn't wait for the moment to harvest them to come. I wish I could have left some of them on the plant for a bit longer but the weather was starting to get a bit too cold.
I'm a bit confused though, I'm used to habaneros that are pretty wrinkly and these look so plump! I kept a basket of fire plant nearby, could they be crosbreeds?
My other question is: I've had luck drying the chillies from the basket of fire plant by hanging them above a dehumidifier. It's a slow process but it works. Do you guys think it would work with the habaneros too since they're thicker and bigger?
Thanks!
