INGREDIENTS:
2 Whole Pompano / Pomfret Fish (clean & gutted)
1/2 cup oil for frying
Pinch of Salt & Papper
FOR THE CHILI SAUCE:
8-10 red chilis (Thai chilis/sili labuyo)
1 inch ginger
5 cloves garlic
1 tsp calamansi or Lemon Juice
1/2 cup oil
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp oyster sauce
1 tsp tomato paste
1 tsp sweet chili sauce (optional)
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp cornstarch diluted in 1/4 cup of water
1 egg, beaten
Salt & Pepper to taste
Note: The sauce is also good for crabs and shrimps
