Garlic Butter Steak| Easy Juicy Steak Recipe | Valentine’s Day Dinner Idea



Hey loves! Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and what better way to celebrate than with a romantic home-cooked dinner? Today, I’m showing you how to make the perfect Garlic butter ribeye steak—juicy, flavorful, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Whether you’re cooking for your partner or treating yourself, this recipe is sure to impress. Let’s get into it

Ingredients!

For the Chimichurri:
• A handful of fresh parsley (finely chopped)
• 1 red chili pepper (finely chopped)
• 3 garlic cloves (minced)
• 1 shallot (finely chopped)
• Salt and pepper to taste
• ¼ cup olive oil
• 2 tbsp red wine vinegar

For the Ribeye Steak:
• 1 ribeye steak (1–1.5 inches thick)
• 1 tbsp salt
• 1 tbsp black pepper
• 3 smashed garlic cloves
• A few sprigs of rosemary
• 4 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions
1. Make the Chimichurri:
• In a small bowl, combine parsley, red chili pepper, minced garlic, and shallot.
• Stir in olive oil and red wine vinegar.
• Season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside to let the flavors meld.
2. Prepare the Steak:
• Pat the ribeye dry and season both sides generously with salt and black pepper.
• Let the steak sit at room temperature for 20 minutes.
3. Cook the Steak:
• Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
• Add a drizzle of oil, then place the steak in the pan. Sear for 3-4 minutes on one side without moving.
• Flip and sear for another 3 minutes on the other side.
4. Baste with Butter:
• Add the butter, smashed garlic cloves, and rosemary to the pan.
• Tilt the pan slightly and spoon the melted butter over the steak for 1-2 minutes.
5. Rest & Serve:
• Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest for 5 minutes.
• Slice against the grain and drizzle generously with chimichurri.
