Ingredients
For the Chili:
– 1 lb (450g) chicken breasts
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 4 garlic cloves, minced
– 1 small onion, diced
– 1 – 2 chopped jalapeno
– 1/4 cup BBQ sauce (your favourite brand)
– 1/4 cup ketchup
– 3 tbsp brown sugar
– 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
– 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
– 2 tsp yellow mustard
– 1 (15 oz) can cannellini beans, not drained
– 1 (15 oz) can of kidney beans, not drained
– 1 (15 oz) can pinto beans, not drained
– 1 tbsp mesquite liquid smoke
– 1 tbsp chili powder
– 1 tsp ground cumin
– 1 tsp smoked paprika
– 1 tsp salt
– 1/2 tsp black pepper
– 1 tsp chipotle powder (or 1 chopped chipotle in adobo) (optional for heat)
– 1/2 tsp ground coriander (optional for depth)
– 1 (14.5 oz) can low-sodium chicken broth
– 1 tbsp butter (optional, for a silky finish)
Toppings (Optional):
– Sour cream
– Tortilla chips or Fritos
– Chopped green onions
– Fresh cilantro
– Shredded cheese

That does look fantastic. I'll be subbing out the chicken but it won't matter with all that flavor in the sauce. Sometimes we do a 5-way style (chili with beans over pasta with cheese and raw onion on top). Or if we have just a little left it goes over baked potatoes.
