    Black pepper paneer

    Ingredients-
    1. Paneer 200gm
    2. Yogurt/Hung Curd 100gm
    3. Cashews 8-9
    4. Onion 1 medium
    5. Garlic 3-4 juliennes
    6. Ginger 2 inch
    7. Green chilli 1
    8. Salt to taste
    9. Black pepper 1 tsp
    10. Roasted Cumin powder 1 tsp
    11. Kasuri methi 1 tbsp
    12. A pinch of cardomom/elaichi powder
    13. Desi ghee/ oil 1-2 tbsp

    Method-
    1. First to prepare the marinade take the yogurt/hung curd in a bowl and add the black pepper, cumin powder and salt. Add the paneer cubes and mix softly.
    2. Next in a saucepan boil a cup of water and add the roghly chopped onions, ginger, garlic, green chilli and cashews.
    3. Boil for 3-4 mins. Then sieve the ingredients and blend it with 2-3 tbsp of this boiled water to make a smooth paste.
    4. Now heat a tbsp of oil or desi ghee in a kadhai and pour the onion paste.
    5. Saute for 5-6 mins until the onion paste is well cooked and then add the marinated paneer with 1/4 cup of remaining boiled water.
    6. Cover and cook for 3-4 mins until the gravy is cooked thoroughly.
    7. Once done adjust the salt if required and sprinkle some kasuri methi and elaichi powder over the top.
    8. Mix well and serve with rice or quinoa.

  2. In my office (railway) i can have lunch from canteen which is okayish and pocket friendly. But in my husband's office (SEBI) they have a very nice fancy canteen but he is very health conscious so i make our lunch at home for both of us.
