  1. They look great, my favorite way is to cut the peppers into strips place them along with the cheese on egg roll wrappers and deep fry, smother with green chili

  2. Chiles Rellenos is my favorite Mexican dish and like them with some rice. I also like to go to Mexican restaurants that have the flat steak that they usually serve with a cheese enchilada and I get mine with a chile relleno instead. When I try a new Mexican restaurant I will order chile relleno with refried beans. Those are my two taste test items, if the chile relleno and refried beans are good then I like the place.

    I LOVE green and poblano peppers (I just learned recently that green chiles are made from Anaheim peppers. Haha!!). They are SOOOO flavorful!!!

  13. This looks so very good. But it is so different than any chiles relleno I have ever had before. I have never seen the chiles placed into the sauce to simmer. Nor have I seen a sauce that color before with this dish. All I have had have generally been either pan fried or deep fried after the egg dip then plated so they are still crispy on the outside, with a rojo or verde sauce spooned over top. Sometimes even stuffed with chicken and cheese instead of cheese only. I guess it all has to do with the variety that comes with so many different regions of Mexico having their own different takes on similar dishes.

  14. Growing up my mom often made these with goat's cheese…..almost everything came off the farm and was a great way to feed a large family.😋

  15. In the USA I would either get these, or the ones that weren't stewed in the sauce. Imagine my surprise when I started going to México and found that ingredients like chicken, pork, beef, and especially shrimp were added inside with the cheese! Nothing better than a relleno con queso y camarones! Thanks for the video!
