Kin Kin Pan Mee rightfully deserves credit as the originator of 'chilli pan mee.' While their brusque service has earned them a certain reputation, and many other spots now (by other operators) serve excellent and sometimes better versions of the dish. But the original spark still came from Kin Kin and that deserves recognition.
Heard the Chow Kit branch got ordered to close for 14 days due to poor cleanliness
CNA now knows how to hire cantonese speaking journalists
I remember maybe 20 years ago, one of my oldest friend from Indonesia brought me to Kin Kin…I can't remember where exactly in KL. Certainly one of the most delicious food I've tried. I couldn't go back to regular pan mee anymore. I've tried the branch at Lot 10 and even one time there was a branch at Publika and it felt lacking. Need to visit the original store to give it a try. I used to frequent the branch in Singapore when I lived there. I think the Singapore one was also good.
Hello CNA, why don't you ask the Indians how they feel growing as a true minority in Singapore. Don't come to Msia and talk about the 3 Rs….go find out what our 3Rs are..
Heh first dish I see Singaporean media not try to take credit for originating.
I hope Kin Kin can consider a halal outlet one day 🙏
very heartwarming to see cna producers being able to speak dialect! very local vibe
Holy… he still has the malaysian chinese accent😂😂

Wah that kind of standard also can teach mandarin? His students all indians is it
For many years, the Chow Kit branch displayed photos of 2 customers with the label – 'this is thief'. Seems the couple stole a container of their chilli flakes. Their images were video captured. 😮
Finally the old man takes due credit. We been eating his food since he was next to a big tree.
Have not been many years but still remember it.. There are other people who are pretty good pan mee but Kin Kin always reliable top standard.
Been here for more than 15 years, quality still remain the same.. although price has increased a lot but thats inflation for you!
