Ingredients
4 Chicken legs, with or without skin

Marinade –
1 tbsp Kashmiri Chilli powder
1 tbsp Smoked paprika
1 tbsp Garlic, minced
Juice and zest of a lemon
1 tsp Cayenne pepper
2 tsp Onion granules
1 tsp Dried oregano
1 tsp Tomato purée
1/2 tsp Salt or to taste
1 tbsp Olive oil
2 tbsp Water

Method
Step 1 – In a bowl, add all of the ingredients for the marinade. Mix well to combine.

Step 2 – Score the chicken legs, rub the marinade on both sides, coating well. Marinate for at least 2 hours or for best results, overnight.

Step 3 – Spray the air fryer tray with a little oil. Place the chicken legs on the tray skin side down, air fry for 25 minutes at 180c, turning half way through. Once the cooking cycle is complete, check the chicken is cooked through with a meat thermometer.

Step 4 – Remove the chicken from the air fryer, and carefully pour any remaining juices from the tray into a bowl.
Brush the juices on the chicken and serve!
