  1. Magnesium glycinate… It's better than you think.
As someone that's married to someone that has sarcoidosis (vitamin D deficiency), she has to take vitamin D every day, twice a day. Magnesium glycinate helps the body absorb vitamin D, in people that don't have much. Just a fun little tidbit about that stuff.
As to the meal prep, I'll consider myself lucky, in that I have one of those neat vacuum sealers, and can prep single meals, and store them in a literal boil-in-bag. When I want one, I drop one into some boiling water, and about 10 minutes later, hot meal.

  2. I would love to do freezer meals for the 2 of us but I am worried about freezer burn..how long in the freezer do the meals last

  3. Anytime I make too much, and have a helping or two left over, I put it into baggies, mark what it is, and throw it up in the freezer. I live alone, and there are just some nights after work, I just don't feel like going to the effort to cook, or occasionally, I want to take something to eat at work, I'll just grab a baggy from the freezer and nuke it. Tada, make a small salad, and we have supper, I've used a number of your recipes, to do just that.
Other that the fact that you are usually adding "heat", which I can't stand, I really enjoy you and the great ideas you give me for supper. I despise making the same 'ol things over and over, so this really helps. Thanks

  4. I would if I could but this tiny apartment has a tiny refrigerator and a freezer that is the size of a shoebox at the top. I can’t wait to move again. At least I will be living with my Son and his wife.

  5. A quick tip. Put a toothpaste squeezer on your tube of tomato paste to get every drop and help squeeze it easier. ❤❤

  6. Also, if you all still use the oscillococcinum, it's on a really good sale right now! (Just me over here about to place a 2nd order LOL)

  7. I don't really utilize freezer meals per se but I often have leftovers and freeze them in individual servings for future Mary to thank me for

  8. I will cook on the grill and make a ton of burgers to freeze some. I cook more than what we will eat to freeze some for another meal. It makes it easier for me. It's just my husband and I so after a long day at work, I can pull out meatloaf from 2 weeks ago and he thinks I made it fresh. You can freeze mashed potatoes, gravy, leftover veggies… It's an endless list. Great video. Thank you!

  9. You need to get yourself a vacuum sealer!! Half the time, those bags you're using don't seal right! Plus, the vacuum seals last WAY longer in the freezer

  10. Here's a tip for anyone who didn't know this. When freezing meals like this in ziplock bags lay them flat until they freeze then they'll stand up in freezer better and save space. 😊

  11. 2:31 Mandy I’ll write more, promise – but I have a question. Why do these baby carrots just taste like dirt to me? They aren’t sweet like ‘regular’ ones. Anyone?

  12. I love freezer meals! I’m always on the go or working late and I have a family to feed/ trying to keep it clean ingredients so I appreciate these recipes and also love that they’re a little different, don’t involve a ton of prep work either so thank you! Excited to try!
