Here you go! This is a very easy recipe to follow. Great way to introduce yourself or someone else to wild game and/or cooking in general.
Here’s the list of ingredients in case I went too fast or forgot something:
1 lb canned diced tomatoes (drained)
30 oz chili beans
19 oz black beans (drained and rinsed). Remember to soak your beans overnight if you’re using bagged beans.
6 oz tomato paste
1 1/2 tsp ground sea salt
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp of celery salt (omit if using chopped celery instead)
1 Tbsp Everglades Cactus Dust seasoning
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1 Tbsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp crushed peppercorn
1/2 tsp Old Bay
1 Tbsp chili powder (optional)
3 lg jalapeno peppers (seeded and diced)
6-8 habanero peppers (whole)
2 cloves fresh garlic (1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 cup beer (your choice)
2 cups water
