BUFFALO TURKEY CHILI

This CHILI!!! 🙌The only chili recipe you’ll ever need. It’s complex with so much flavor! A little bit spicy, a bit smoky, packed with protein and fiber… basically everything you could want in a chili. It also makes fabulous leftovers/ is great to prep 🙌
Ingredients:
2 lbs ground turkey
3 stalks celery (diced)
1 red bell pepper (diced)
1/2 white onion (diced)
6 cloves garlic (minced)
5 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp cumin
1 tbsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/3 cup franks hot sauce
2 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce
1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained
1 (15 oz) can chili beans (Do not drain)
1 cup bone broth or chicken stock
Salt and pepper to taste
Garnishes:
Raw chopped onion (I use the other 1/2 of the leftover onion)
Shredded cheddar cheese
Sour cream
Instructions:
To a large pot on medium heat, add 1-2 tbsp of olive oil. Add ground turkey and break up the meat and cook for 5-6 minutes until it’s lightly browned. Add in onion, garlic, celery, red pepper, and garlic and a big pinch of salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes then add in the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a rolling boil then reduce to low and let simmer for 10-15 minutes or longer if you have the time. Taste and season with salt and pepper if needed. Makes 6-8 servings.
